There's a man at my job who's highly religious, and he keeps asking me if i go to church, when I tell him no not really, he then tries to find out why and encourages me to go. I get extremely annoyed with this because it's not of his business how I choose to spend my free time. I don't appreciate he talks to me for the underlyning purpose of "recruting" me to get into his church. He also invited me to a function at his church and I just felt like saying..."do you NOT get it"? I'm not that interested, leave me alone. I feel in a way this is harrasment because he obviously knows I'm not a church goer and he still chooses to bring up the subject, what do you all think?

wouldn`t it be better if we could just accept that we cannot prove that there is or not a god? Instead of mocking the ones that don`t have the same belief system, wouldn`t it be smart to concentrate on how we can get along and work together trying to help each other? it doesn`t matter how long we`re arguing we won`t agree if there is or not a god so why so much hate about it? Wjhy should we become enemies because a book tells us to? think about this people we`re gonna nuke ourselves up one day..

how do you determine good? If it makes the person feel good to do it then isn't it done really for the person giving rather the person recieving which nullifies the intent of good?

What if when you are borned, you're not pushed into a religion just because your family worships that religion? If you can learn to choose one now, given each one a chance, what would you pick?
That means, without counting the experiences you had with your religion now, what would you pick to worship and why would you? Mose reasonable answer gets 10+.

No racist comments please.

Even within marriage, it seems that sex is only accepted with reservations and only as a neccesity for procreation.

Isn't this holiday a delightful trick of beelzebub to condemn more souls? Will you repent of your celebration? Does saying grace before the meal mean you're sinning in God's name?

People often seek to trace their geneology family ties (or adoption) for interest and to maybe understand the 'ways' of their family more...at times for the purpose of understanding themselfs more. Why does one not just as advidly seek who they are to God soulfully (not just religiously). It's nice to understand your 'italian' roots and language, japanese roots / language etc. But to authentically understand the soulful connectnedness and soul language...that to me is real awakening of understanding. Your thoughts?
