History is based on facts and it actually took place.Theo means GOD. So theology is a study of nature of God.To b honest I understand God's Character from the creation. And as i understand Him ,Heis very simple,Wonderful,Holy,Funny,Loving, forgiving and many others.I generally do mnt understand all the theology as I feel it is too much of head knowledge and nothing in the heart.Only a person who seeks God and accepts Him will know his nature Best.I may know about the President of India but how much do I know him really??//So history is a fact and we must learn from it and theology is a study of God's nature,(not restricted to books but personal)In computer lang....downloading the knowledge from head to the heart by faith. Then god is real!!!!and personal. No more inanimate or some undefined power.

History is the study of things past. Theology is the study of God. Both can interact, as God has affected history (or at least the concept of God).
