There is no evil in basic terms. You speak of it as if it were the opposite of good, yet, they are both moral value judgments that are understood from the perspective of "opposites are absolute", and you ignore the unity that exists. Creation and Destruction are two sides of the same coin. In your terms, Evil is the desire for destruction.

Not the absence of good. If you believe in the concept of evil, you must believe in the concept of good. it's not that you can't have one without the other, for instance good can and will exist without evil one day. Good is the opposite of evil, not the avsence of it. If good is the creation of life, evil is the extinguishing of life. If good is the giving of gifts, etc, evil is the unlawful taking of the possessions of others. A good Bible verse to consider is 2 Corinthians 6 v15, in which the opposing nature of good and evil is discussed. However, the end of all evil is promised. Reading verses like Revelation 21 v4, Psalm 37 vs9-11 amongst other is very encouraging.

Evil cannot be defined. It is purely subjective, and everyone has a different view on what is and is not evil. Evil is the absence of what YOU think is good.
in actuality evil does not exist.

Genesis 3:21-24
"Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life."

Evil was a concept people used to try and explain why people sometimes behaved in an undesirable way before the advent of modern psychology. It doesn't exist in any real sense.

No. I'm not doing anything good right now, but that doesn't make me evil. The classic comparison of good and evil to light and dark is flawed in that respect, perhaps we should use the analogy of sweet and sour.

The word "evil", is the word "live" spelled backward. It is anything that
keeps us from Living and enjoying Life!
Even if it's just a negative way of thinking.

Hi, basically evil is a state of disobedience to the will of God and it is not a material object as such,so that we can say that someone has done an evil act but the person is not evil but rebellious to Gods revealed will. you can say that television is evil but this is wrong as an object is not inherently evil but the misuse of this medium can and sometimes is evil.
