What do you think about those Christian denominations that have accepted gay marriage. Do you still consider them to be Christians?

Look, as a Muslim and a convert I do not accept things on blind faith, but in Logic. I know many people still would say that me believing in Jesus' birth being Virginal still shows that I am "trusting in faith... but I think I am not! - I trust in facts

Mary the mother of Jesus was a virgin and Jesus could not have possibly be the son of JOSEPH that is a fact!!!!!

It's written that Mary was a virgin when she gave birth to Jesus.

However, she was married, so she would not be committing sin if she lost her virginity to her husband. She would still be sinless.

I began thinking about this question after watching Dogma. In the words of "Rufus" (Chris Rock):

"The nature of God and the Virgin Mary, those are leaps of faith. But to believe a married couple never got down? Well, that's just plain gullibility!!"

I asked all my family members and they all agreed that Jesus had no siblings. I looked into it and found this:

"Is this not the carpenter's son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?
And His sisters, are they not all with us?" - Matthew 14:55-56

You could say that "brothers" and "sisters" is not used literally, but "mother" certainly is, so I would argue that all three are used literally. Did Jesus have siblings or not?

why do i feel my prayers sometimes are being ignored by god, i'm being neglected by god, that god doesn't care for me and he hides away from me? it feels like he doesn't care about me even i pray everyday.. i'm 14 btw.

Even though there are many hyprocites that are here most are trying to do the right thing .. so dont give up and throw in the towel,we will accept hyporcrites too because if you think about it we are all hyprocrites because we cant be perfect and thats why we have to seek God's help.. ...then why not come to church and find out for yourself? There are friendly Christian congregations almost everywhere!

Church is about worshipping God, not judging other people. No one is perfect; no one is any "better" than anyone else. But by God's awesome love and Jesus' resurrection, anyone can be forgiven and healed.

A church fellowship is also about building strong communities, connecting with neighbors, and making new friends. In addition to the usual Sunday-morning worship, most churches offer extra worship services, Bible-study groups, community service, volunteer opportunities, outreach programs and other activities throughout the week.

If you think church isn't for you, remember--peace, joy, freedom, happiness, fulfillment, and eternal life are rare jewels. To gain the real treasure we must go where it can be found, and seek it with persistence and patience.

he knew there would be atheists. so why are atheists not part of his grand scheme. and why shouldn't we automatically be admitted into heaven. according to that logic, everyone will be admitted into heaven, even the worst of the worst because they are part of the ultimate plan.

please do not quote bible scriptures. I'm looking for a real answers.

Once when I was in deep distress God answered my prayers. I wept with such gratefulness and wanted to give something back. I asked, "what can I give to show my thankfulness God. I have nothing to give that you do not already have. Then like warm honey being poured over me I was covered in His spirit and He said, " your tears are my gift."

In our local paper this week was a big article about how gays are being kicked out of churches all over America.

The reason...they do not follow the word of god.

In the teachings of Jesus, anyone who obtains a divorce and marries another is in adulterer.

Adultery is one of the BIG TEN written in stone by gods own finger (gay didn't make the top 10)

So I got to ask all you bible thumpers...

Are you going to start kicking out people who have married divorced people cause they do not follow the word of god?

Or will this be yet another case of Christian Hypocrisy?

is it arrogant to think that we can exist in a Universe without God where we live in an obscure dirtball orbiting around a pretty much average star in this humongous Universe?

Or is it more arrogant to think that this whole humongous Universe was created for your existence, because you have been specially loved for by your Creator and that there is a higher purpose to your life?

People don't go around saying "Buddah" or "Mohamid" when they get mad, or do they? I may be wrong, but my perception is, it gives them a false sense of "power" for the moment they speak it out during anger. Your thoughts?
