OUCH! Ivy.....well I think people are becoming more educated about the problem. I've had big time health problems and weight is one. However, I'm repenting from the problem. I'm going to a dietitian that is modifying my diet. I also think there is a lot of social presser put on society to look a certain way. I think that is just as wrong. It does not mean that a person is a heath an if they are fat. I think you'd have to look at the whole world of crash diets, and the get thin quick ads. Along with the types of foods our society if offered. I think I'm glad that I pray over my food before I eat it. I also think I'm glad that when I look at what I'm eating I can honestly ask God to bless it.

Proverbs 23:20 Do not come to be among heavy drinkers of wine, gluttonous eaters of flesh. For a drunkard and a glutton will come to poverty and drowsiness will cloth one with mere rags.
Every place it mentions drunkards it mentions gluttons.
So that would be a sin.
However, all Americans are not fat nor do they all eat meat.
Americans includes Canada, Mexico and all of South America.
So who do you mean when you say Americans?
Do you mean USA?

Remember, Gluttony is only 1/7th of the sins. I've got to ask what personal reasons you have for narrowing in on just one sin, and on just America?

There is gluttony all over the world, in the poorest of areas....and there are many Americans who are starving.

Ouch. Well I had breakfast with Him at McDonald's just the other day. I think he told me to join the Biggest Losers Club. Too bad there isn't a drive-in where you can get a low fat meal with veg's for dinner. What can I say. The devil made me do it!

We live off fast food. I have no health problems, either. I love a good Big Mac, light on the sauce. I eat eggs everyday. My metabolism has had a jumpstart, and it is from eating more meat and potatoes as well as cheese.

If there was a god, I don't think he'd approve all too much. On the other hand, if I could pick a god charateristic, it would be UNCONDITIONAL love. And always remember, wealth is not measured in how much you have, it's how little you need.

America more than likely is the "whore of babylon" spoken of in the bible.

We consume more resources such gas, electricty, and food....than most of the world. The USA can't stay out of other people's business. And if we don't like somebody...we go and bomb them.
