Look, as a Muslim and a convert I do not accept things on blind faith, but in Logic. I know many people still would say that me believing in Jesus' birth being Virginal still shows that I am "trusting in faith... but I think I am not! - I trust in facts

Mary the mother of Jesus was a virgin and Jesus could not have possibly be the son of JOSEPH that is a fact!!!!!

I answered the question below:

which said he was, But I hate to say, History and GOD disagree with this person. (please read my answer to this questioner if you can)

FACT MARY WAS A VIRGIN.... SHE WAS THE PUREST WOMAN IN CREATION!!!

Respectfully,
Muslimah

In claiming that Mary was a virgin, one comes upon some difficulties. The word "virgin" has many different definitions, and has had many over the generations. One popular definition centuries ago was "an unmarried woman", meaning a quite different thing than one who had not had sexual intercourse.

I'm not saying that Mary did have sex, only that the use of the word cannot guarantee that.

In any case, given the nature of the story, I would doubt that the father was Joseph. It seems that he was rather a traditionalist and would not have considered sending Mary away if this had been the case.

Mary's statement that "I have not known man" seems obvious enough as well.

The only thing left is to decide whether one actually believes the Gospels.

Not sure if I really want to dive into this subject, however - According to King James, creation started with Adam and Eve, and Eve was the daughter of Adam. Enough said there.
Also concerning Mary, There are some things we do not quite understand, we have to apply logic to everything. If there is a life after death, Many will get a big surprise.

I agree with you. Mary was a virgin and Jesus was not a biological son of Joseph...but Joseph was His father, the step father. Joseph and Mary did not consummate their marriage until Jesus was born.

well actualy Adam is the only ONE born by obvious virgin birth in TheWhole Torah. so that whenever you are speaking of the virgin birth, this is what you are realy talking about. since G-D only gives TheTorah, TheTorah, TheTorah, and maybe for the forth time TheTorah. even if none of you highly intelligent critters, can actualy figure out what TheG-D of ONLY TheTorah is giving now. which is obviously much more difficult than figurning out what color was george washington's white horse. and i do not need faith to know that Adam is always by virgin birth, however G-D always has this done.

joseph was Jesus' foster father, not his biological father, coz Mary conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit-hence, the divine conception of Christ and his coming into human form-with God all things are possible! so that's how Christ came into being and Mary was engaged to Joseph but she had learned that she would be a mother-she didn't realize how this could be but the angel Gabriel explained to her why and how-then Joseph was about to quietly break his engagement to her but then Gabriel appeared in a dream to him and advised him that he had nothing to worry about since this was God's plan for Mary-this is all from the new testament-you'll find it in the very beginning chapters of the gospels-Mark, Matthew, Luke or John-

Jesus was not the son of Joseph he was the son of God (literally he was God incarnate but in the flesh called the Son of God.) Joesph was Mary's husband. Mary was a virgin and was pregnant before they could get married and consummate.

Most respectfully, ma'am; is there any point at all in you Muslims posting such patently insulting"Questions" here?

Especially considering the fact that Poki and you are living in USA?

I'd love to see Muslims talk about their Governments and Religion in Islamic Countries.

Everyone knows how much tolerance and freedom is there in those countries for people of other Faiths.

Do you really wonder why is it that Americans are growing extremely uncomfortable with the Muslims in their midst, nowadays?

Please do continue with your harangues. You will be helping your fellow people very much here. Because, thanks to people like you, I've now joined the growing number of people who does not have any sympathy for Muslims anymore.

Respectfully,

Joey

Why the pretend declare? honestly you recognize that athesits recognize there by no potential replaced into such someone? The bible is what's termed "Faction" A fictional tale set in a authentic time and position. hence the time, position and genuine historic characters are all the finest option besides the undeniable fact that the fictitious characters and thoughts are literally not! there is not one unmarried aspect out of Jesus contained in the total Roman list - it really is sweet - not one! mutually as he replaced into meant to were round there have been diverse Jews claiming to be the messiah - all of whom are nicely recorded! there is not a unmarried modern list from any source or perhaps the bible mentions of him like quite a few different references were not written until eventually many years after his meant lack of existence! He replaced into meant to were a wide issue to the Romans and produced stunning miracles yet nonetheless not one modern list? Even the bible mentions of him like quite a few different references were not written until eventually many years after his meant lack of existence! Pilate is recorded contained in the Roman list as a quite lack luster guy yet no aspect out of a Jesus, an ordeal or crucifixion that would want to honestly were used to make him look brighter! At best he replaced into an amalgam of those others yet virtually honestly by no potential existed!

You well know that no one has concrete proof either way. However, I believe you to be smart enough to know that humans have to have chromosomes passed from both parents. Therefore, Mary could not have passed on all 46 of hers.. there would be no XY chromosome.. as you can only get that by combining the correct Y carrying sperm with a female egg. Jesus of Nazareth was a human male and therefore had to carry the XY chromosome.. he had to get it from somewheres...

Logic given the laws of genetics would dictate that he had an entirely human father as human beings do not reproduce asexually.
