I thought God is supposed to be omnipotent as well as omniscient. By not intervening in the holocaust, do you think he is evil, or just plain powerless?

i grew up in a Catholic home. I was taught that believing in horoscopes and psychics was bad since only God knows your destiny. How true is this? I've always been curious about going to have my palm read. I don't think I will go to hell for this but will it be like I was turning my back on my faith?

there is this boy at my highschool that really likes me alot. I'm a guy also. I'm in the closet hiding it from society in school. Lately, I been finding myself flirting with him, and him too. So a rumor came up saying that we were both gay and going out. I was hurt so badly when he started going out with this girl in my face and act like he didnt even know me, knowing that we have a secret relationship with one another. He know how I feel about this but just luaghs at it. Even though God meant for woman to be with man, but I just have feelings for guys. I'm a christian, and know Jesus Christ.Could someone please help me out, give me advice anything you can. Anything, and please be kind to me please dont hurt me anymore than what I already have . The reason I posted this question in religion, is becasue I feel really scared and dont know what to do. I know its wrong to be gay, bi, but I just have a strong feeling for guys. I know its a sin to act upon homosexual.

today, i had to say goodbye to a missionary who had really touched my heart and was a wonderful missionary who loved to help people. i had been an investigator for quite some time and he taught my lessons. i got his email so we could keep in touch and i could tell him about my baptism in december. after talking to him today, i knew i would probably never see him again. when he was about to leave, i gave him a hug. he seemed really weird about it. i knew there was a "no flirting" rule with missionaries, but i didn't know there was a "no hugging" rule until just a few minutes ago. i feel like an idiot. should i apologize to him by email or something?

You believe hte BIBLE is true, you believe everything I'm guessing. Now, why believe it? Would you believe the book "Alice In Wonderland?" It's literature too. Who agrees with me, this is also needed, why do people who don't believe in Jesus need to burn in hell? It makes no sense, I would like someone to tell me with this without using the Bible as a reference.

Imagine a man, who in his life was a good bloke, i dunno, maybe like a hindu monk etc. Anyway might have committed a couple of sins or something. He dies, and guess what - wakes up in hell (didn't believe in jesus, sorry mate you're f cked).

Anyways, in hell he's under unimaginable torment, he burns alive every second, his flesh searing in the lake of fire etc. etc. etc. He has burnt to a crisp a billion trillion times for every sin he ever commited and this is only the beginning.

He's screaming out for jesus to forgive him and save him, but god ignores him, quoting scripture and saying - you had you're chance mate when I died for you, didn't take it, now you pay the price etc.

Right, story over. Now I'm a bit confused - I read in the bible that Jesus told a story about a man dying at the side of the road. Now in the situation above (which is supposedly happens to all non believers when they die), is god like the pharisee, the levi or the samaritan?

How many out there really believe that Iran only wants neuc's for general electricty purposes? Also why do you think the U.N keeps kissing up to these crazies and what good does the U.N do for the world except to unite the rest of the crazies and give them a voice. Why should the U.N not be disbanded and Islam declared illegal due to it's blood thirsty foundation? I am not saying that all muslems are evil but I am saying that to be a "good" muslem one would have to uphold the koran and it's teachings which include the converting OR killing of all people of the book and Jews.

Why is it that you see hundreds of young teenage muslims defending there religon so strongly.They say they are true followers of their faith,yet you can garantee that at least a quarter of them will be out the same evening,necking bottled larger like theres no tomorrow.Do you no wot i mean???
