He's a reverend, and he touches the people's ears and says some kind of prayer and gets rid of the "spirits", and supposedly they can hear and speak afterwards. Anyone know the name of this guy and the show?

If an atheist and a Christian were in a relationship, what would be some specific conflicts they might have? (just looking for ideas to incorporate into my novel) Thanks, and yes, I know what the obvious conflicts would be, but what would be more specific conflicts? Thank you so much for any help,

Kiara

All knowledge possessed by each human being is necessarily entangled with beliefs, some of which are religious and some others scientific. Disagreements may arise between two religious beliefs, between two scientific beliefs, or between a religious belief and a scientific belief. Let us view the lack of immunity to belief-based conflicts as just one similarity between science and religion. There are other similarities between religion and science, and yes, there are differences too.

1."God is everywhere"
he said that aint true. Accdng to him there is a passage that says that God doesn't dwell in temples made by man. Something like that

2."Nothing is impossible with God"
he pointed out a quote that says that God is incapable of making a lie. I know this sounds absurd. Coz He is the law-giver, and He won't do something against His rules. But he said that he was just showing us the essence of his point.

3."Cross"
he claims that cross is not needed in religion. For it was not written in the bible. (If that's what he believes then I assume that goes the same with Saints and celebration of Christmas) And he pointed out something in the bible that says like, everything is at it is written, no more no less. Something like that.

4."Nobobody's perfect"
Can't remember what he said but he also claims that this is not true.

I am really against this man, I have my own reasons to disbelive, just wanna hear out what you have to say, guys. No need to identify him.

I always hear someone say. "I used to be an alcoholic/sex addict/drug dealer/etc. and when I found god/Jesus, my life turned around. He helped me see the light and a good life." My question is: Why would god play favorties? Why don't you just help everyone in need and maybe that way they'll come closer to you? Sounds like god/Jesus is just like those teachers I had in High School that would bump your grade to an A if you kissed their *** enough.

I am a devout atheist (!) and want to make a decision to not go to church ever agin for any reason as I don not believe in any sort of religion. How can I do this though, with so many others having weddings, christenings etc, all things I do not believe in - yes I shoudl support my friends beliefs - but at the expense of mine? Also I am about to graduate as a teacher and find assemblies intolerable!

In a stable reality such as ours, the law of cause and effect governs much of what happens. However, some people, though they realize this, are unable to put it together with other facts. Facts such as time flowing forwards, and the many theories that attempt to explain our very existence. I, however, believe I have done just that. This is my new disproof of atheism. Contrary to the popular atheistic belief that every particle of matter in the universe had always been there, such would mean that the matter would have an infinite past. An infinite past inside the control of time is impossible if time does not (literally) flow backwards, which we all know it does not, for if it did, our experience of reality would flow backwards and cease to exist once the memories in our experiences are passed by. Now we've established that time does not flow backwards, and infinite pasts can only exist if it did. However, anything outside of time can have an infinite past. (more info in details)

Can you find Judaism mentioned in the Bible, the Quran or the Torah?

Jews were one of Twelve Tribes of Israel of the twelve sons of Israel and they were all Muslims, so the religion of Jews would of course be Islam, and not Judaism.

The Quran states that the Christ was not crucified but that there was a trick to the crucifixion and that this trick was followed by conjecture about the crucifixion, and this conjecture includes, quite logically, the Bible and Christianity.

The Gospels describe the followers of Christ as Nazarenes and those who stuck to the Torah as Jews, while the Quran describes the companions of Christ as Nazaaraa (Helpers) and those who stuck to the Torah as Yahuudi (Penitents), since the Twelve Tribes of Israel became one people, Yahuudi, with the Torah.

The Bible and the trick of the crucifixion and the conjecture that followed would have encouraged belief in Judaism as a Religion, for which there seems no reason in the Scriptures.

We caught it when it was trying to attack one of my cats. I had to hit it with a broom and I guess I knocked it out. I put a harness leash on it and tied it to a pole in my back yard. It put up a 'do not enter' zone around the cat so no one will get bitten. But the cat is insain crazy and tries to attack anything near it. It is the coolest thing ever. We got a sweater and a pair of jeans and wrapped them over and over with duct tape so we can run up to the cat and let it attact us. I feed it and dont want to let it go because it will pass on the rabies and I dont want to kill it.

Luk 16:31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’ ”

this is a site that shows the many prophecies that have come true within the last hundred years. http://www.100prophecies.org/

if they don't believe in this then how can we help them? are we supposed to just go our seperate ways? because even if you were to raise the dead they wouldn't believe you since they don't believe the prophets even though the prophets predictions are clear and happening right now within world events. like the Jews returning to Israel. what are we suppose to do to help these people?
