There aren't any healers today as Jesus Healed. But BH wants you to think that he is. When Jesus showed up, ALL deseases and handicaps were healed. I saw a story on PBS a few years ago where they had evidence that he is a fraud because the one he claimed to heal, died 6 months later of the same cancer that BH said he healed. I think it was a child, as I recall.

I am 51, and since I was 19, I smell roses within 2 or 3 weeks before someone I "know" dies. It first happended when my best male friend was murdered. (I'm female). The second time I can remember was when my father died from a stroke at the age of 41. The third time was when my 29 year old brother in law died of a not known congenital heart defect. And then again when a business associate and his wife were killed in a plane crash. They were neither close to me, nor important to me in anyway I can recall.
It seems to me, or I accept it, as a warning. A warning to brace myself, knowing death of someone I know/love is in the near future. And, it doesn't matter where the scent hits me in correlation to who it might be.

Any info, links, etc., to help me figure this one out, is welcomed. I am a Christian.

I will tell you, I personally believe that your life is not complete without the Lord. I am not going to sit here and preach to you about heaven or hell. Instead I am going to ask some questions, for you. Do you feel complete? I didn't until I was saved. Do you feel vulnerable and alone? God loves you and wants you to be happy. Do you ever feel scared? God is always with you. God is so great, he created the world. So why don't you show your appretiation and live your life for him? The Lord works in mysterious ways. He has helped me in many ways I couldn't even begin to explain. Jesus died for me (and you) so it's time for me (and you) to do something for him. Be an inspiration to others. Show them that God is good, and so are Christians, not like so many non-Christians are.

I am trying to reach Christians and non-Christians with this question. Feel free to give your feed back.

Ok. I know it is going to be wonderful but could some one please elaborate with more detail.
In fact, has this ever been explained at all by the authorities and those in direct contact with god?
No vague, hairy fairy, pie in the sky speculation please.
This is a serious question.
Who knows you may win another convert.

Now, I'm not an atheist, but I believe in learning about different people's points of view.

I've heard from religious people that atheists have no real motivation to live ethical lives because they neither hope for heaven nor fear hell.

Nevertheless, many atheists live moral, ethical lives.

So my question is: what's the motivation? Why do some atheists live moral lives?

If they were really atheist and did not believe in God they would not care. Seeing the 10 commandments would not mean anything. Is it because they just want attention?
