(the bible does not contain every single book ever written... search, google it, it was written..... You should read it. The bible only has the books that have been canonized)

I enjoyed it. It meant quite a bit to me to know that Jesus valued Mary as much if not more than his other male disciples.

You mean the Gospel of Mary Magdalene? Haven't read all of it yet, but what I've read has been interesting. And I think the only reason her gospel wasn't included in the Bible is because she was a woman. I also don't believe she was a prostitute. I think that was a label used by men because they felt she was uppity and wanted to discredit her.

I've read bits and pieces of most of the books not included in the KJV or Catholic Bible and tend to agree they don't fit the format, which makes reading diffcult.
Not sure about the content, however.

There is no gospel of Mary. They just have statues of her in catholic churches because she is jesus's mother. They do not worship Mary. The worship God...the father, son and holy ghost. Catholic is just the same as all christian religion with a couple more ceremonial rites such as confession and confirmation.

Mary did not write it.....it was written several hundred years later... it is part of the "Gnostic gospels" which are not really gospels at all...they are written by philosophical writers and the stories are imaginary, and based on legends, not facts..

Never heard of the gospel of Mary, where did you hear about it from. I don't believe that gospel is in the Holy Bible.

It's a fraud. People get paid big dollars to try to duplicate the old writings. It started out as a hobby but some people will pay big to try to distract believers from the Truth.
