I will tell you, I personally believe that your life is not complete without the Lord. I am not going to sit here and preach to you about heaven or hell. Instead I am going to ask some questions, for you. Do you feel complete? I didn't until I was saved. Do you feel vulnerable and alone? God loves you and wants you to be happy. Do you ever feel scared? God is always with you. God is so great, he created the world. So why don't you show your appretiation and live your life for him? The Lord works in mysterious ways. He has helped me in many ways I couldn't even begin to explain. Jesus died for me (and you) so it's time for me (and you) to do something for him. Be an inspiration to others. Show them that God is good, and so are Christians, not like so many non-Christians are.

I am trying to reach Christians and non-Christians with this question. Feel free to give your feed back.

no, I didn't mean it like that,
I meant,
Show them that God is good, and so are Christians, unlike so many non-Christians think (that Christians are bad)

Sorry for the miss understanding.

GOD BLESS YOU

My questions are hypethetical. I don't really want to know your answers. Just giving you some things to think about followed by a solution and hope.

God comes first in my life, can you say the same?

I think your questions count as preaching, but I can tell you that I am not interested in a relationship with Jesus or the Christian God. I do feel complete. I do not feel vulnerable and alone - my beliefs empower me and surrounds me with the protections I need to enjoy my life. Even with an army on your side, anyone can feel scared from time to time - but I am very safe in my understanding of the Universe.

The things is, that even in a Christian God model philosophy the point is not to life your live for god - the point is to understand your own divinity and to understand that you and god are a team. If god is an ocean, we are each and everyone of us a glass of god, with tremendous power and divine right - no matter what we call this being. To spend time steeped in any church dogma only brings you closer to understanding the church, not god.

I am glad that Christianity has helped you and I rejoice that you are happy on your chosen path. I regret that you feel you need to school others or that you feel you have the only answer to the mysteries of life. There is no way to truly know the Unknowable and there are many paths to enlightenment. Worry about your own soul until someone asks you for help if you truly want to display the virtue of christianity.

Peace!

After your copious monologue, I had to go back because I forgot the question. I "make" myself believe that all this sort of preaching is well intended, like you've been given some special gift you want to share. If I didn't believe that, well...I would simply tell you to go away. My life is complete; I don't feel vulnerable or alone; I am not scared; I am happy. There. I don't NEED HELP to live fully, delightfully in fact, & I'm also a "good" person however one wants to interpret that. I have a Christian friend who recently told me that I behave 99% more like a "Christian" than the people at his church who "talk" a lot about it, but don't live it.
I'm content to leave you alone in your "faith," but you just can't seem to feel the same about me. There is one very clear pattern I see so often here--Christians go on & on & on, sometimes I have to scroll PAGES to get to the end. Seriously. Are you Christians, or MISSIONARIES?

*** I just looked at the second of your "details." IT SAYS IT ALL.
"I don't really want to know your answers." That's it in a nutshell.
You don't listen, you just preach.

*** I see you have 8 minutes left for answers...just wanted to add something a Christian friend told me this morning: "It says in the bible that a fool's voice is known by its multitude of words." Rings a lot of bells....

Do you feel complete? Yes.

Do you feel vulnerable and alone? Nope.

Do you ever feel scared? Only scared of the normal things, like running out of money and axe murders and bears.

God is always with you. God is so great, he created the world. So why don't you show your appretiation and live your life for him?

Because I don't believe in him. Very simple.

Throughout history, God has chosen certain humans to be his close friends. For example, God called Abraham his friend (Isaiah 41:8, James 2:23). Others include David (Acts 13:22) and the prophet Daniel (Daniel 9:23). Why did God choose these to be his close friends? Because they humbly did what he asked of them (Jeremiah 7:23). Satan has questioned the motives of all humans, "People do not serve God because they love him" Satan has charged. "Give me a chance, and I can turn anyone against God". The story of Job is a good account of this, see Job 1: 10,11. Satan argued that Job served God just for what he got in return. Of course Satan was proven wrong, despite all the terrible events, "Job did not sin or ascribe anything improper to God."(Job 1:22) We can all answer Satan's challenge by living in a way that pleases God. "You must love God with all your heart..."(Deuteronomy 6:5) So in summary we should be obedient to God, avoid the the things he hates and love what he loves. By studying the Bible regularly we can learn to develop these qualities.

I live a great life, though I do wish you would define what you mean by "complete" so I could answer your question...

In that sense, yes, I am much more happier as a Buddhist than I was as a Christian, I feel like a large space in my heart has been filled. I am happy that Christianity has been able to do to you what it couldn't do for me...

No, the well being of my fellow human beings comes first...

You said you weren't preaching, but you were. You said you were going to ask questions, but each one was followed by your answer.

As for your questions,

Do you feel complete?
I feel mostly complete. I don't feel as if I am lacking for want of Deity, as I have a relationship with Deity. My completeness, or lack therefore is only for want of an earthly companion to spend my life with. Perhaps deity has decided that I might live alone, and that would be fine as well.

Do I feel vulnerable and alone? No. As I said before, I would like companionship, but I don't feel vulnerable and alone. Deity is always with me, and whenever I reach, I find him or her. I'm never alone.

Do I ever feel scared? ANYONE who never feels scared has never been in danger. I don't feel scared about my eternal life. I do feel scared when seriously threatened. I do feel scared when I'm in physical danger. I'm certain you would too.

My own Goddess has worked miracles in my life. I do show my thanks. As many miracles as people from other religions might claim, so have I seen in my own life.

Suffering from mental illness, and having been disabled from it, I'm starting my own business now. Suffering from alcoholism, I have been sober for over a year. Having a daughter who didn't speak to me for three years, I now have a healthy relationship again. These are just a few of the things that have occurred in my life with a relationship with Deity. While the name may be different, the Christian Bible states "By their fruits shall ye know them." The fruits in my life certainly bear testament to a loving Deity.

I have a full and wonderful life. I am happy with my job and my husband and two cats. I feel complete. I don't feel alone or vulnerable. I feel scared at times at work because I work with explosives and accidents happen. I belive in science and reason. I do not try to put down believers, I actually try to listen. I am glad you feel complete and happy with ur experiences with "god" and religion and are trying to help others. I joined the military to help myself and others.

So Christians are the only good people and every one else is evil and hell bent on cramming their beliefs down the throats of every person that follows a different path?

I show my appreciation for life by respecting it and avery living being regardless of their faith.

I do take offense to your second to the last statement - "Show them that God is good, and so are Christians, not like so many non-Christians are."

What did any non-Christian personally do to you that would classify them as not good people?

What bigotry, prejudice or hatred do you have for non-Christians aside from their being non-Christians?

My grandparents were murdered by Roman Catholic Christians (their own sons and daughters) four years ago. I converted to Islam in 2004 which brought me closer to God and away from the evil people who killed my grandparents.

I'm now happily married to my wife and we have a 1 year old daughter. I am very happy with my life now.

To you be your belief...To me be my belief.

Peace and respect I bestow upon you. May you return it in kind not only to me but to others who don't share your kind of belief or conviction.
