I do, however, I also accept that Christ died for me so that I may get to Heaven someday.

I acknowledge that I am wicked, because The Bible says that the heart of man id deceitfully wicked. But I do not accept it as a final fact of life. I battle my wicked nature daily, just as Paul said he did in Romans.
Also, while I can never be Righteous, since I accepted Jesus as my Savior in 1972 I have the Righteousness of Christ, and stand Justified in Him before God.

Yes! We are all born with sin in our flesh and this condition, if not adresed, will eventually send us to hell. The sins we commit are only an outwards manifestation of an inner condition and it is this inner condition which condemns us. The only way that this condition can be treated is to accept Jesus as our savior and the Lord will do the rest. We are all physically born, condemned, and Jesus said in John Ch.3 V18 "he that believeth on him is not condemned but he that believeth not is condemned already" I posted a question some time ago entitled "what is wrong with the Church of today?" The question charges that the Church today is content to preach a social Gospel and leave the real issues such as sin, condemnation and hell unaddressed as the clergy of today don't want their members to become uncomfortable in their sin. The reason that there will be many morally upright people in hell is because they failed to address the real problem that sent them there in the first place which was their inner condition which separates them from the Lord. Jesus said "Flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God" hence the need for us to be born again as this gives our spiritually dead souls, life (we are all born spiritually dead) The preaching today fails to address these issues and many other important aspects such as eternal security to the believer (Ephesians Ch.4 V30) "....sealed with the Holy spirit until the day of redemption" I like your question and would like to hear more from you!

I wouldn't say I have a wicked nature, although sometimes my sense of humor may be wicked.
As for being evil, bah!
I do not consciously work to do harm.

Those are two different questions! I realize that many times I have chosen to be evil, but that evil stuff has to go! Thank God I have a choice!

I don't accept it, because it's not true. Labeling someone as "evil" is like labeling someone as "dumb". Unless you're mentally challenged, you're not dumb.
The same goes for people being "evil".
