Whoa! This question makes me wonder if you are looking for a sincere answer or an all out war. I could probably say it is the latter of the 2.
Anyhow you know murder is wrong, no matter how it is commited. Abortion is murder and it is wrong and a sin.

No... There is a whole section in the O. T. that has priest causing women to miscarry if their husbands suspect adultery.
Also, in the Lex Talonis law section right above "a life for a life" it states that if someone causes a woman to loose her unborn child, that person has to give her husband some money. If it was seen as murder, the text would have stated that person should be killed.
The reason abortion isn't like in Christianity is because during the Middle Ages they thought that humans started off as tiny people that had to be released by contact with sperm. This sort of theology felt that incest was better than masturbation, which is a mortal sin. So, if you believe abortion is wrong, then you have to believe that masturbation is also bad.

This is actually a valid point. Great question. Murder and abortion are the same thing. Abortion is only questioned when the Mother's life is in danger, the baby is having difficulties during the delivery, or if the mother was raped. Here's something similar. Were they called the 10 commandments or the 10 suggestions? Pretty good huh?

Please show me the bible verse that deals with abortion? And "you not murder (thrtzch Ex.20:13; Deut 5:17)" is not it.
Since God did not reveal his opinion about abortion, we can form our own. We can believe that abortion is murder, but that belief is not supported by the bible.
We live in a nation of laws, and so far, the federal law allows abortion. Since it is legal, it is not murder.
However, I will tell you what is murder: Anti-abortionists killing workers in abortion clinics. You claim to save lives while taking them.

God said Murder is wrong. Everyone would agree with that. The problem lies in the fact that people don't think a fetus is a human being yet and so therefore, it isn't murder. They argue that it is just a few cells together. Even if you could convince them that it is alive, they don't care, they will think what they want to and believe what they want.

actually if you've ever read the Bible you'd know that your god never mentioned abortion excepts as a means to determine the the guilt of a suspected adulteress and as a punishment. you're zygote's rights campaign is not a mission from your god but rather self righteous busy body control freak interference by people who know little to nothing about the book they thump.

Abortion is not murder, since the fetus is unable to survive without it's host. If you don't believe in abortion, don't have one. You do not have the right to choose that for others, though.

Yes, all murder is wrong. We believe that abortion is wrong because we believe God gives an individual their soul at conception. Thus, it is the murder of a human being when you abort a fetus.
