do you just cease being?

Everything is consciousness; physical "life" is one (very intense) focus of mind. "Death" is a change in focus...we cannot cease being, but we can experience whatever we believe, based upon those beliefs. Oblivion can be experienced, but only until the one having the oblivion experience realizes that they are indeed experiencing it. Then they wake up, and realize they still exist.

you're asking us to disprove each faith obtainable and have faith me if it must be achieved it would have already been achieved. In my attitude the two maximum rational the thank you to have faith is dont have faith something that hasnt been shown or dont rule something out until that is been disproven. it style of feels as in case you suspect interior the latter and if so you will might desire to settle on for your self what's authentic and what isn't for the unanswerable questions which comprise this one. Edit No im am telling you to stop asking questions that cant be replied the two settle for what human beings have faith as an answer or circulate discover your individual certainty. Edit Oh no sorry if I sounded indignant didnt recommend to haha. Im truthfully style of enjoying it. yet back on difficulty of direction im claiming lack of know-how what else are you able to do. while confronted with a query that cannot be replied the suitable component of do is to declare I dont understand. you like evidence approximately what occurs after dying and that cant be achieved. to be user-friendly I dont belive until that is shown. So that is not as much as disproving the existence of it, that is proving it exsist otherwise all you have are bunch of therios and in basic terms one is right and something are fake even with the undeniable fact that that is impossible to nicely known such issues.

People are trifold, body, soul & spirit. All have senses. consciousness or subconsiousness is associated to your soul, but when you are reborn spiritually (born again), the consciousness gets attached to your new spirit man.

So when we die and go to heaven, the new spirit man and consciousness of acts rooted in faith hope & love are rewards and go to heaven with. Sins of the body die with the body, or get fried from consciousness.

Work out your salvation also for ones soul and I think that is tied to our consciousness.

Though if one is not reborn spiritually, person goes to a place of rest and not heaven. Even one sin will keep you out of heaven, because sin needs to be atoned for. For those presented the Gospel Truth & reject Jesus Christ & God's saving grace, person will go to hell.

definition: the ceasing of all functions of life. after breathing, heartbeat, and brain activity stop, the-force gradually ceases to function in body cells. death is the opposite of life. (ECCL. 9:5) "THE LIVING ARE CONSCIOUS THAT THEY WILL DIE; BUT AS FOR THE DEAD, THEY ARE CONSCIOUS OF NOTING AT ALL."

Electrical impulses drive the consciousness, so when the energy stops, so does the conscious.

You will either go to the grave (place of rest) or possibly become a spirit/ghost that lingers here on earth not @ rest. Then we will all rise @ the great resurrection of God and be judged.

No one knows, but that is the most probable and reasonable answer.

Religion may have started when people first came to that answer, didn't like it, and decided they wanted a more reassuring one.

You have options.

Read Matthew 25 here.

If you avail yourself of the opportunity to lay hold upon the oil of "abundant life" in this life, you will provide yourself with the ability to "rekindle" your life at the resurrection of the just.

If you choose not to leverage your current position to enhance your future standing, then you will die and find yourself standing before the judgment throne of God known as "The Great White Throne". When standing before God, you will fast be looking at your shoelaces because his righteousness is too bright for you to look at his face. Merely standing in his presence will cause you to search your innermost soul for something that you can present as worthy of Him, but you will find nothing.

The book of life is opened. It is searched. Your name does not appear.

You are cast into darkness. You understand that you knew you had your choice, and this is what you chose. You know your prayers from this place cannot be heard by the one whose judgment is final. You know this is your lot for eternity.

I recommend you pray now for God to enlighten your heart to understand His truth and take the opportunity available to you in this life to enter into his presence with joy and with Paul you might say: "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
