In a spiritual sense, it is speaking about what we think we possess. What does it say to you?

Most religions were created to explain everything science could not explain, that explains why early religions had a god for everything they did not know about, why did that happen? it must be god. Why are we here, it must be god? Although the purpose of most religions are just, (keeping justice and order) the outcome of all of them is just war. Almost every war ever fought has some religious basis and that is just wrong. If you people need a god to explain everything we don't know, than how do you explain to yourself where that god came from?

When you forgave did it have anything to do with your faith, or your beliefs of how you should be because of church. Or did you just forgive because it was the right thing for you. Just wondering

You see I have a different idea of god. I dont see god as this person who sits in the clouds and waits for us.. What I feel is that god is a force of this universe. That to know god is to know yourself, and take steps with love in your heart. Satan is just a representation of mens inner turmoil, that is created by fear. Fear is the advisary. IT keeps us glued to one place, whether that is religion, beliefs, or just changing jobs for fear of change. To me letting go is to say I believe in myself, and that everything I want the universe(god) will provide. What do you think of this.. Doesent it seem the same?

I am pretty much convinced god does not exist. Except for the fact that anything is possible...That being said let's say there IS a god, and, despite all the possibilities ( FSM god, Muslim God, Jewish God, Purple Polka Dotted god, Hindu Gods, Zeus, Vishnu...[Infinitive]) THAT it is the christian god. The Christian god is perfect, and he created me. I have already lived my life....it was a good one and I was good to others and the way I went through life, my surroundings, both mental and physical, made all the evidence and logic that was available to me point out that god did not exist. So, I go to hell now, correct? I used my free will to get there, and that's done and past. Let's say you have a pet rat that you put in a maze. The maze you created has two paths. One that is straight forward to the food and makes sense to the rat and one that loops around the entire room in twists and turns and seems to make absolutely no sense. Which do you expect the rat to choose? Would it....
