now i know you are all anti abortion but lets say hypothetically that you get pregnant and you have a dream or vision that god/jesus comes to you and tells you that the kid you will bear will make hitler look like mr rogers and he wants you to abort it would you then do as god/jesus tells you? just curious

God/Jesus would never tell us to do something like that. And besides, Mr. Rogers was an adorable old guy!
PS: I'm not anti-abortion in general, just anti-partial birth abortion!

God asked Abraham to sacrifice Isaac but then saved the child at the last minute. I would think the same would happen. On the operation table Mom's blood pressure would spike or something and the doctor would declare it unsafe to proceed.
Faith is a difficult requirement.

He wouldn't. If I had a dream or vision or something like that, it wouldn't be from God.
If God wanted my child dead, don't you think He'd have the power to take the baby away, or keep me from becoming pregnant? Or just use the child the way He sees fit? God never tells someone to disobey His Word.

i am not christian and also not a woman, just wanted to say some words, if its real true it can be a test, we have a example in history about ibrahim, that he wanted to kill his son for Allah as he saw a dream, that Allah is asking him to give most loveable thing on his way... and it was a test... so i dont think such thing can happend again now... since there is no prophet after the last prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him... and seeing a prophet in a dream is true... satan cannot come in shape of a prophet even he can come in shape of God in a dream... have more details regarding this in my religion about dream and stuff... need to discover... no child is Bush, or hitlor in the belly of mother, just what world makes him later on... if its true i am sure bush's mother must have seen this kind of dream to tell her that her son will be responsible for killing millions of people one day!!!!
