You see I have a different idea of god. I dont see god as this person who sits in the clouds and waits for us.. What I feel is that god is a force of this universe. That to know god is to know yourself, and take steps with love in your heart. Satan is just a representation of mens inner turmoil, that is created by fear. Fear is the advisary. IT keeps us glued to one place, whether that is religion, beliefs, or just changing jobs for fear of change. To me letting go is to say I believe in myself, and that everything I want the universe(god) will provide. What do you think of this.. Doesent it seem the same?

"Let Go - Let God" or Let Go - Let Tao" means to let go of your control of your life.

It is part of the AA and other 12 step programs. It is God as you understand God, so you are OK in that part of what you say. However, the part about believing in yourself, if you mean in your ability to control your life, is not really part of the idea.

The idea is that you can't control your life and to trying to do so makes a mess of it. That is the letting go part. You are turning control over to God, as you understand God.

To me it just means, I do not care anymore. Whether the universe is going to provide or God is going to provide or someone else, I do not care anymore.

I appreciate that is your opinion. No, it isn't the same. I trust in the God of the bible and His hundreds upon hundreds of promises to those who believe in His son. One of them being "in all your ways commit yourselves to God and He will guide your path". I live my life very, very simply. My mind, my heart, my thoughts are on the Lord and His word, and He takes care of everything else. And He does it beautifully. "He keeps those in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed upon Jehovah".
