And I have worked in Africa for nearly 10 years helping Africans with food, transport and helping to fight diseases.

During that time I have had malaria, typhoid and bilharzia several times.

Nothing I have seen here in Africa has changed my belief that god does not exist.

Will I go to heaven or hell?

your stance is limited. 1. Do you believe there is a "hereafter" another life yet to come after death? 2. Is there such a place as heaven? 3. Is there such a place as hell? 4. If so, will nothing else ever happen again or will evolution just start all over? 6.Was there such a person as Jesus as described in the Bible? 7. if god showed you in a dream what lies ahead for you in the future can you change the out come of it or not . and if its about someone in your life why wount they listion to you even if they have the same dreams about what is to happen to them .

It is obscene to think that water levels could ever have risen above the world's highest mountain top and then gone back down again. Also, why did everybody deserve it then but never since then ? And how did he get the animals to keep from eating each other ? And why did diseases not die out then ? And how do you account for the minor differences between closely related species ? And how come all the world's plants did not go extinct under salt poisoning ? And why does God never intervene in wars? I think the author of that supposedly factual account has a lot to answer for.

I am going to use a good example from my last question.

This texas woman falls in love with a texas man. The man does not love her. So it breaks her heart but she lets him go. Now, if the woman is God and I am the man who does nots love him, than why is that deservng of an eternity in hell? Is God such a jealous and controlling being that he would demand total admiration? Is his ego that inflated? If that is the case, than that would certainly be a poor example to set for our children. If you don't love me enough than I will send you to your room forever.

Again, no bible please.

well a lot of people say it doesn't matter ? this way it has changed the whole bible ,some time it is difficult to say which is God's word and which is historian's word ......i was reading it says God spoke to Moses ....moses spoke to God ...God spoke to Moses ..and so and so on and if this was word of God, than why it is not written in the bible that i spoke to Moses instead of God spoke to Moses.
my point was it is very difficult to judge what is word of God and what is word of historian ...

in the original scriptures name of Jesus is Eesa but today people dont even know ...
could some one please explain me.....thank you

Someone told me that they would tell me the truth about love and then they "pulled the rug out from under me" just when I gave in so completely to him. I understand that there are no guarantees in this life but I think I am being told that there is no real love other than self love and love of God. Is this the truth?

We dont believe in the afterlife so, we make up for that by doing as much as we can to make THIS life as heavenly as possible

That's why Atheists strive to better the world

We dont believe God exist so, we strive to better the world because we know that ONLY MAN can save man

Isn't is arrogant, by which I mean over estimating our own importance, to believe that God is taking a personal interest in each and every one of us?

What do you think makes each of us so important in the Grand Scheme of things?

Aren't you just a bit embarassed to bother Him in prayer about your own personal problems when he has a whole universe to run?

The other day, I went to Karaoke with my friends Alex, Briana, Tyrone, and Keiko...

I am a Pagan.
Alex is an Atheist.
Briana is Jewish.
Tyrone is Agnostic.
Keiko is Lutheran.

So, anyway, Alex and I decided to duet the song "Like a Prayer". And, I must say, we sung it quite well. (98/100 was our score. :D :D :D YAY! ) However, Briana seemed agitated, and told us to cut it out.

So, naturally, Alex and I chose Amazing Grace as the next song, and started singing it, and she screamed at us,

"STOP SINGING F*CKING CHRISTIAN MUSIC, IT'S F*CKING ANNOYING AS HELL AND I HATE IT!"

... Yeah... how does this make sense, exactly?
