The other day, I went to Karaoke with my friends Alex, Briana, Tyrone, and Keiko...
I am a Pagan.
Alex is an Atheist.
Briana is Jewish.
Tyrone is Agnostic.
Keiko is Lutheran.
So, anyway, Alex and I decided to duet the song "Like a Prayer". And, I must say, we sung it quite well. (98/100 was our score. :D :D :D YAY! ) However, Briana seemed agitated, and told us to cut it out.
So, naturally, Alex and I chose Amazing Grace as the next song, and started singing it, and she screamed at us,
"STOP SINGING F*CKING CHRISTIAN MUSIC, IT'S F*CKING ANNOYING AS HELL AND I HATE IT!"
... Yeah... how does this make sense, exactly?

You picked a beautiful song to sing. Sometimes even they who profess to not believe are bothered by anything that pertains to Christ. Makes you wonder why it bothers them so badly. God's spirit can talk to the hearts of even the unbelievers and often they will fight the feelings they have wholeheartedly. That's how sinners become Christians because that small still voice kept telling them something wasn't right and they needed to fix it. I've seen people saved that were in their 80's and felt almost sorry for them because they missed so many years of working for the Lord. Then again I rejoiced that they finally Saw the light. You sing from the heart. The bible says we should always carry a song in our heart. I don't think He meant some of the music I've heard today but then again I have heard some rock Christian songs that I felt were very appropriate for teenagers. As long as the message in the song is good then us older folks should get over it because these young people are speaking of the love of Jesus in a way that the younger generation can understand. Stand up for what you believe in and once again Amazing Grace is a truly wonderful song.

There are some reasons why she could have reacted this way. One, she knew the two of you were not "christian" and took exception that you were singing something you didn't really believe in. Two, she's Jewish, so the songs you were singing came from faiths where Jesus is being prayed to and "Amazing Grace" is Jesus. The Jewish do not believe that Jesus was the savior of anything. Or three, she started her period that day and there were more hormones in her body than was thought humanly possible.

Maybe she is annoyed that someone who is pagan and an athiest (which there is no such thing), is singing songs like that. Why would someone who is an athiest sing that song int he first place? Thats being hypocritical and that is just wrong. I think soo. Other than that. Maybe she wasn't in a nice mood. She shouldn;t haev been swearing either. That is very un-Christian like. I can't believe that she would do that, but maybe she has some problems. That u guys need to help her out with.
Personaly i would hae told u guys to take it off too. To hear an non-believer sing that song would make me leave the place I would. Thats like hearing a non-believer sing, "Lord u are Good and ur mercy endureth forever." How would that makes sense?

The scriptures are THE know GOD and THE be conscious is Jesus ...! all of us be conscious of folk with the help of their works that Mohammad can't be from God because of the fact his Quran preaches mendacity to their enemies as o.ok. In Revelations 21 we study that we are going to have not have been given any liars or murders in Heaven! Ishmael who's the illegitimate son of Abraham .... is Islam ... Edom ... and that they are against Israel and which potential they're against GOD .... The Bible is the authority: (Ephesians 4:14 KJV) That we henceforth be not greater babies, tossed backward and forward, and carried approximately with each wind of doctrine, with the help of the sleight of adult men, and crafty craftiness, wherein they lie in wait to mislead; (2 Peter a million:20 KJV) understanding this popular, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any deepest interpretation. (2 Peter a million:21 KJV) For the prophecy got here no longer in old time with the help of the choose for of guy: yet holy adult men of God spake as they have been moved with the help of the Holy Ghost. (Galatians a million:7 KJV) which isn't yet another; yet there be some that undertaking you, and could pervert the gospel of Christ. (Galatians a million:8 KJV) yet regardless of the undeniable fact that we, or an angel from heaven, pontificate the different gospel unto you than that which we've preached unto you, enable him be accursed. (Galatians a million:9 KJV) As we mentioned in the previous, so say I now returned, If any guy pontificate the different gospel unto you than that ye have gained, enable him be accursed. Maranatha

Religious Jews take prayer seriously but some still dislike Jesus. You probably hurt her feelings by deliberately ignoring her discomfort.

She has what I call "cultural music envy." Briana was obviously distraught that music better than FIDDLER ON THE ROOF was being enjoyed. :-)

i will tell you why, she acted as she did, she felt that you two were mocking her, making her feel like she was an outcast from the Group.
What would posses you two to sing Christian songs, knowinf full well you two are not, this act made her feel you were mocking her.

okay here is a possible clue, ask her if she believes in the Torah or the Talmud, if she answers Talmud, do a search on it and you will better understand her venomous outburst.
