The Bible hell is NOT a place of eternal torment--some churches have simply misunderstood and unfortunately, this has led them to misrepresent God. The truth is, the Texas woman falls in love with the Texas man and the Texas woman has children. The Texas man does not love her and she could probably live with that but he molests and torments her children and steals from them and continues to do this sort of stuff over and over and over. She tries to talk to him, to reason with him. Nothing works. She loves him. She truly does and she wants to make him understand that he can't keep hurting all of them. Finally, she realizes her children can never be safe as long as he is alive, so she shoots him while defending her children. End of story. Her children are safe and he is gone forever. No more torment and suffering for anyone. They live happily ever after. She loved him but he just wouldn't listen.

A valid point, but I'll give you the same answer I give to Christians:
You are giving God human traits, which makes your overall question invalid. In other words, it's like asking what God would do if he won the lottery. Since God cannot win the lottery (and gets plenty in tithes anyway), saying that he would buy a new Ferrari doesn't make sense, right?
If there are to be hypothetical questions about an ethereal, omnipotent being, why should this being's actions be subject to the limits of human action and emotion? It seems that too many questions from all sides try to use the fallacy of anthropomorphism to prove a point, and even more fall for it.

Wrong analogy. More like an animal control center with everyone of those critters scheduled to be put to sleep. Doesn't matter what they do or how "good" they are, they are all destined for destruction because of one disobedient pet many years ago. And our woman comes in and has known about and picks out some of these dogs, and some of these cats, and takes them home with her and they love her and she loves them. They did nothing to "earn" going home with her, and yet they are very, very happy to be with her. She doesn't take all the animals home to be her pets. But the ones she does have, now have a special relationship with her and get to enjoy the benefits of her keeping them forever.
There, no Bible. No inflated egos either, the woman can't be blamed for not taking the whole lot, it was her choice in the first place. You may not agree with it, but I believe it does answer your question.

Let me see if I have this straight?
The woman is God, she loves the Texan Man. The Texan Man rejects her.
OK let's keep the Texan thing going. There are exactly two places to live in Texas. The first is Dallas (heaven) and the other is Del Rio (hell)
She owns all of Dallas, he can't live there unless he accepts her, so he has to live in Del Rio.
She still oves him, and all he has to do is accept her to come to Dallas. He has that option until the moment he crosses the Del Rio city limits.
I guess that's as close as I'm going to be able to get to without using scripture.

You see a person on the street. Do you love them (forget the love thy neighbor for now)? No, because you don't know them or understand them. The human mind hates God, because it has its own agenda. As we come to know and understand Him, then we also love Him. People ask so many questions about God because we have a spiritual sense within us that can't be silenced forever by the human consciousness. God demands that His ideas understand Him, and that misconceptions are trampled by the wayside, and this includes understanding One Ego as well. God does not send His ideas into a hell within Him, but as the human mind denies Him, this one paves his way into hell, and this hell is present here on earth too.

God doesn't send anyone to Hell. You send yourself there. God has done everything He possibly can to keep you out of Hell and still leave you as a person with free will and not just a robot. That's the way He made us--after His image, after His likeness, the power to say "yes" or the power to say "no," the power to reject our own Creator, and of course to take the consequences.
He doesn't send anybody to Hell, because across the road to Hell he has placed the cross of Christ. There are also the prayers of friends, family , and all the other things that God brings into our lives to stop us on our selfish way and to bring us to the Savior. We have to go wandering on past it all and put ourselves in Hell.Sometimes you hear people say, "God wouldn't send His children to Hell." God certainly doesn't send His children to Hell because when we're His children we're in the family of God. We're born again and part of our salvation includes deliverance from judgment. We're not all children of God except through faith in Christ Jesus. Can a God of love send anyone to Hell? All of these things are the consequences of sin entering into the world, and in some cases the direct result of man's rebellion, and the result of greed and pride and egotism and hunger for power that doesn't have any use for people--only the desire to get ahead. We may rest assured that no one will suffer in hell who could by any means have been won to Christ in this life. God leaves no stone unturned to rescue all who would respond to the convicting and wooing of the Holy Spirit.
Its all about choice, what are you choosing?

Let me know when this Texas woman is capable of creating the universe, then maybe I'll be willing to accept this as a good example. In a certain group of paragraphs, it is said that God IS a jealous God. I think that says it pretty well.

Hi,
The parent first does nothing but give life, shelter, food, warmth, clothes, etc., then they control and teach, then they relax and advise, then they kick you out the nest, and it is all up to you, while they live out the rest of their life.
This is the process of life.
When children are young, a parent should expect respect (and deserve it). That is also a parental God. This sounds like a jealous God, so to say. I am past a parental, jealous God.
At my stage in life, I am kicked out of the nest. It is all up to me. Except, I can pray and try to discern advice, spiritually. That does help me a lot. Sorry for the short answer, hope it makes sense.
Have a great night,
Ted

I am gonna try to answer this the best way i can...
!st of all.. , there is a big difference between humanly love and godly love.. Godly love has more to it and isn't self seeking as earthly love is...
I for one cannot explain why GOD is a jealous GOD but it does say he is..I can only say that maybe it means that GOD wants his children to love him and not other things .. I know GOD loves us and only wants the good for us but our Father will also show us the wrongs we have committed and will teach us through discipline that which we need to know..
As for the whole Hell thing. Hell was intended for satan and his co-horts not us.. If we end up there , its our own doing..I pray this has helped :)

I don't think I would ever teach my children that they must have an undisputed love for anything. I can't speak for God, nor can I even speak for what the Bible says, since I don't know their answers. However, your example of your texas man and woman is ideal, because that states how life is, or how life should be. Rather than live your life for God, live it for yourself. Do the best by your family and loved ones. Be honest and truthful, competent and productive. This is what any God would expect, and I believe we know that deep in our hearts.
