I am pretty much convinced god does not exist. Except for the fact that anything is possible...That being said let's say there IS a god, and, despite all the possibilities ( FSM god, Muslim God, Jewish God, Purple Polka Dotted god, Hindu Gods, Zeus, Vishnu...[Infinitive]) THAT it is the christian god. The Christian god is perfect, and he created me. I have already lived my life....it was a good one and I was good to others and the way I went through life, my surroundings, both mental and physical, made all the evidence and logic that was available to me point out that god did not exist. So, I go to hell now, correct? I used my free will to get there, and that's done and past. Let's say you have a pet rat that you put in a maze. The maze you created has two paths. One that is straight forward to the food and makes sense to the rat and one that loops around the entire room in twists and turns and seems to make absolutely no sense. Which do you expect the rat to choose? Would it....

be fair to execute the rat for taking the most obvious path after the maze was done? If you were a perfect person do you think you would execute the rat or torture it for choosing the path, in the maze that you created, that made the most sense to the rat, even though he used free will to choose the path. In reality everyone's path looks quite different to them...every1's maze is not quite the same because of what surrounds them and influences their decision. And, a perfect god would understand this, therefore not punishing people with Eternal suffering.

Your mental state is either in Heaven or Hell, right now, not later...

The choice here are not starve or follow a roller coaster....your logic makes no sense. There is only one God. Believe in him or not that's your choice. Why are you worried about going to hell if your so sure it does not exist? True you have free will and if you choose not to believe then the consequences are of your free will also. You have to be a strong person to follow your convictions (I'm Muslim) and being a good person is not enough. I'm a good person but that is not a free pass into heaven just because im good and moral. There is nothing in this life for free and that goes the same for the next. I praise God they way he wants me too and live my life by the rules he has laid out for me and still does not mean i get into heaven either.....but at least God sees i followed him as he requested and had the correct intention. The truth is out there for everyone and if you choose to turn your back on that truth, don't blame God for where you end up....You had the same chance to follow the true path as everyone else.
A rat lives for 3 things food, sleep, procreation. To use this animal as an example is not acceptable. Firstly you are not the same as animals you are upright, clothed and have more needs than the rat. And for your information all animals praise god too. You cant wine and moan says its not fair to punish me becasue i took the most obvious route in life. Take responsiblity for your own choices. Beleive in God or not but dont think there is a backup clause....."well duh... i just couldnt be bothered to look further than the end of my nose." Not a good enough excuse for anyone im afraid.

Are your worried about religion, being a religious person, following any established church, or being a mouse lost in a maze?
All religions seek bringing peace to people by trying to offer an aswer to the questions:
Who am I?
What am I doing here?
Where do I come from?
Where am I going?
The concept of God may vary, but even scientists agree there is something beyond what our sensed can register.
I believe we are here to learn. We were designed to survive and keep learning whatever comes your way. You may choose learn and move ahead, or keep stuck focusing a single point in the universe.
We are equiped with everything it takes to do the journey. We can seek balance and live well, or we can seek to confuse ourselves and others, and be in hell.
Whatever happens next, is for us to imagine, and it certainly will be a consequence of our choices at any moment we exist here.
When you say 'the idea of hell', what exactly do you mean?
Hell is just a word. It can bear infinite meanings, depending on how you focus it.

Freaky stuff this, yet such as an person sexual prepare referred to as 'vehicle-erotic asphyxiation', from which persons sometimes die. Asphyxiation or choking produces a limit of bloodflow, and often a feeling of panic. in case you be conscious of this is coming, the panic tranposes into some thing else - an exhileration. Coupled with the outcomes of limited bloodflow, this exhileration could be intoxicating - interior the erotic experience, people who've tried it and proceed to exist will inform you this is like no longer the rest. i could wager that babies around the U. S. are experiencing particularly some issues abruptly - first, this exhileration, 2nd, the exhilaration of enjoying "fowl" with dying - area of the attempting out of actual and social limitations, taken to extreme, and nil.33, probably some residual sexual thrill. What to do? i'm uncertain no remember if the better direction could be to achieve this by contrast phenomenon, or to de-cool it with the help of oftentimes ignoring it - hoping the craze will flow away with the help of itself. tendencies in highs come and flow - with a bit of luck this faintly unhappy way of dicing with dying will disappear as rapidly because it arrived.

I appreciate that you think the idea of hell is ridiculous. I don't mean to patronize or talk down to you...but please consider something. If you don't agree with gravity, will it matter if you walk off the side of a twenty story building? No. It is the same with hell. It is a place that people will go if, in this life, they reject the saving grace of God by faith in His son.
I mean no offense, but your opinions, however much of a right you have to them, will not negate what will happen.

Rats do not have free will. They live by instinct. You, on the other hand, know of God and now have a choice. Follow him or follow satan. Sounds pretty simple to me...Remember following satan is not evil it's the rejection of God. The devil WANTS you to think by doing good you can make your way to heaven. So keep thinking..or Follow God.

Dear Cookie Monster, we can destroy the Confusion by asking you two or three questions. Ithese questions will adress your conscience, because God hasnt left us ingorant of his expectations but rather he has given his light to every mna. secondly I will adress the fact that by Gods standard (which is written on our hearts) we arent good people, we are only good when we compare oursleves to other people. After we Go through these questions I will explain why Hell is real and extremely reasonable.
Do you Consider yourself to be a good Person?
Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and the BIble says "he who hates his brother is a Murderer." Have you ever hated somene?
Listen to the voice of your consicence, you knew it was wrong to lie and steal and lust and hate. Knowone needed to tel you these things are wrong because your consicence was already teling you. God has written his Law on our heart and given his Liught to every man so that we will be without excuse. So on the day of Judgement would you be innocent or guilty? Listen to your conscience. You know that you will be guilty, and the BIble says becuase God is Holy and Just, he cannot simply overlook your sin. Imagine a courtjudge who simply overlooked the crimes of the Mafia, if that happended we would be infuriated because that Judge would be corrupt. God is the Holy and Just Judge and Not only will he punish Murder. rape, and Theft, but he wil also punish liers and theives and adulterers at heart. Just as if you broke civil Law you would go to jail, Hell is Gods Place of Punishment. There is a way to escape, God has not only given his Light to every man, but he has provided a way by which me may escpae his Just punishment. God sent His Son to take our punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death.
Your own so-called “goodness” can’t get you into heaven any more than mine could. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the "Door," the only "mediator." There is salvation in no other name. The BIble gives the ultimate challenge to any skeptic. the BIble says anyone whop repents (turns from sin) and places there faith and trust in jesus will be forgiven and granted the gift of everlasting life, and God will reveal himself to them. This dosent mean you will have heanvenly images and hear voices, rather God will change you and put within you a new heart with new desires. Im a testimony to the truth of this calim. Either its true or its Not, But I would ask that you wager carefully, because were talking about your eternal salvation.
God Bless

Yeah it does
Drive your car drunk and kill someone
Get caught with 2 ounces of pot in Florida and they'll teach you what hell is. The Big House for 18-36 months with a rapist or armed robber as your bunk make for 1 - 3 years.
Now do you believe in hell!
Step out of line, the man comes and takes you away!

All is but a state of mind/consciousness! You create your own hell or heaven. There is a concept called 'Source' which Jesus called "I AM"!
The 'spark' that leaps from the Flame is but one and the same .... hence the concept of "Oneness"!
