oh yes please .. thank you for this question

i am a spiritualist medium .. that means i speak with spirit

i do not speak with demons ... i do not predict the future .... i am not a witch ... i do not do cold readings or read faces ( since most of my readings are online and even offline have to provide evidence that can be validated ) ...i believe in God and only work with the best intentions ... and no one that i have given a reading to has turned from God , infact it has brought them closer to God

that is just some of the myths that i would like cleared up xxx

oh one last one .... people always tell me to prove it to James Randi for a million dollars .... my mediumship is worth no amount of money , just to be slandered by a skeptic xx

I'm Wiccan and a witch, so I'll dispell double myths.

We do not consort with Satan.

We do not speak with demons.

We do not sacrifice kittens and drink their blood.

We do not cast love spells or hate spells on old boyfriends.

We do not hate Christians, we just get irritated by ignorance.

Sorry, I lost my train of thought - my kitties are playing and it's cute.

Oh yes, we cannot predict lottery numbers by reading Tarot cards or Rune stones. We can, however, give you a good idea of what energy patterns are coming into you life in the next six months, if you aren't closed to the information.

We don't fly around on broomsticks, sicken livestock or destroy crops.

If any Wiccan/witch ever murdered children it was because s/he was mentally ill, not because s/he was a Wiccan/witch.

The pentagram is a sacred symbol for us meaning very different things, none of which has anything to do with the devil.

We'll never wave our wands at pumpkins, proclaiming "Bibbidy bobbidy boo!" and have a coach be the result.

Spells do actually work, and casting them against people is used only when every other natural alternative has been used to deter someone that is causing you harm.

Not limited to my spiritual stances, but to my entire culture. I am from Transylvania, people here assume that I am morbid and crazy. Some even jokingly ask me stupid questions like, "Do you know Dracula?" and so on. They also tend to think that since I am from Transylvania and I believe that Vlad Tepes was a good leader, that I am a horrible person for supporting a man who did what he did. He was no different from any other leader. The current American leader has caused many deaths for what he believes is right, he wants to help his country. Vlad Tepes did the same, but he did it the way he knew how because there were no guns. They also associate me with The Blood Countess, because of her legend and that she lived in my country. They call her "Yet another vampire from Transylvania." They think that I am dirty and poor because I come from Romania. I make no judgement on America or any other country, I would like it for people to respect my country in the same way.
So yes, I believe that I have fallen victim to some myths and stereotypes.
Thank you for asking this question and allowing me to not only vent, but to bring to light the catagories under which my people fall.
Best wishes.

That Allah is a moon God. Allah means One God or The God in Arabic. Even Christians in Arabic speaking countries say Allah.

There are many many more things but that is the main one for me. It saddens me that people think we worship some moon God, especially Jews and Christians. They are the people of the Book and worship Allah(God) to they just put partners with Him.

To me all the other myths are trivial when it comes to how the religion is seen. But when it comes to Allah then that myth is a serious one that need to be cleared up fast.

That we have the power or ability to save ourselves by some sort of power of the will or work of righteousness. The Word of God declares we are dead in sin and unless God has pity on us and in mercy gives us new life we can no more lift ourselves up to salvation than a man can climb out of the grave to be alive again. This is what Jesus was saying about many who would say to Him on judgment day "Lord, Lord, didn't we .... "and He will say to them "Depart from Me" So bottom line is not did we choose Jesus but did He choose us.

Baptist are not protestants

Many don't know this but we have been around long before the reformation. we were known as Donatist and several other names until we came under persecution from the Catholic church for baptizing people who were already baptized when they were babies. We only believe you should baptize those who have been born again so we don't recognize infant baptism. They began to call us Ana-baptist. Ana means re, as in the prefix re baptize. We eventually accepted the name given in persecution and dropped the Ana and became known as baptist.

I was Catholic but gave it up because I strongly opposed their position that you should have tons of kids. I think that the Pope should pay for their upbringing and college expenses if the Vatican feels that way. Too many kids and not enough money is continuing the poverty level in the world.

that all persons belonging to any particular group or religious belief system are all good or all evil. each person has good and evil in themselves. so since all groups or religious belief systems are made up of individual people it stands to reason that all groups and/or religious belief systems are a combination of good and evil. for none are perfect.

Myth: That we "Traditional Anglicans" are "that Church that "hates women and homosexuals" because of our Traditional Catholic stance against the "ordination" of women and homosexual "marriage".

We hate neither. We hate no persons. That's just nonsense.
