I have to ask, cause I see this a lot here. Ted Haggard - Super-Christian, until the scandal, now not a "true christian". BTK killer - deacon of his church, then convicted, thus, not a "true Christian." How come people who are Christians, whenever a scandal hits, or one of their own is accused of a horrible crime, say that "they weren't a true Christian?" What exactly is a True Christian? Seems to me that as soon as you do something bad (by Christian's standards) they assume your faith was just a joke. Am I wrong about this?
