As a christian i must be honest. I DO NOT pray every day. Because i don't want to pray when i don't want to. But when i do pray for something to happen, i pray hard, and that prayer comes true. I do not ask God for many things, because i believe that he has done a lot already.

It is a common to see a pig eat and drink the waste of others. Don't you find it disgusting to eat such an animal's flesh.

In the bible it says that only 144,000 will go to heaven and rule with Jesus over the kingdom and the righteous ones will possess the earth...so not many people will go to heaven, the only one's in heaven is God, Jesus, and their angels, that's it nobody else for now...i think people should accept the fact that not everyone will go to heaven.

THE END OF THE WORLD:

As humans keep expanding we produce carbon-dioxide from everything we do, and this carbon-dioxide makes a "filter like" sheild in the earths atmospheir that lets heat in but not back out, wich is what we call a "green house effect" this will soon cause the polar ice caps to melt and the fresh water from them will shut down the ocean current, that will cause all the heat to gather at the equater, and because heat can get in but not out the heat will intensify at the equater, then it will sread and boil away the oceans and burn the land untill "Nothing" is left but dust covered dry land.

it is a just as the bible says, god will destroy the earth by fire.

what if you don't believe people will go to hell, but you believe that jesus is our saviour, doesn't that mean that the no hell thing cancels out jesus as a saviour because he's not saving you from anything?

I'm doing a research paper on a non-mainstream culture, religion, group, etc. and I chose Scientology, because it's relatively small and since I go to a Christian school, no one really understands it. I have been all over the internet, reading books, etc. but I want some first hand information. Can anyone who is a Scientologist, or knows first-hand give me some info about how it all works? A book and the official website only provide so much. Thanks!

I have frequently read postings saying, "Why do atheists think Christians are perfect?" The obvious answer is that many Christians engage in judgmental self-aggrandisement.

It has occurred to me that, if Ted Haggard had disclosed his questionable behaviors, he might have been more humble when judging others. The upshot is that looking at himself before he judges others would make him more credible as a Christian. My guess is that doing so would have changed his statements profoundly.

So my question is, would it be beneficial for those who decry the behavior of others to spend several minutes disclosing their own ethical lapses first?

[And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? (Matthew 7:3).]

Have you ever eaten a Halal McDonalds in a Muslim country like the United Arab Emirates or Pakistan? In Britain I dont eat Mcdonalds, KFC or Pizzahut because the places do not serve halal meals and the veggie options are crap, but when Im in a Muslim country I stuff my face with it! I love the McDonalds chicken fillet burgers in pakistan, as well as well as the others. Also, dont you think that the quality of the food is sooo much better, because only the rich in these countries eat it? The main Mcdonalds in Lahore is like a Palace! No joke!

Didnt think too much of the Big Mac though, it were well nasty.

In the Bible, it clearly says that 7 of each clean specie of animal and 2 of the un clean, were taken into the Ark.
It never says anything about the Creatures in Water, but it says all creatures on earth were destroyed! of which I think the waters are part of the Earth!
