There is a girl in a town near me that is in this critical stage of fighting for her soul.. (we are all fighting, she is now in a very critical stage and it is her soul, not just her life.., everyone light a candle for her and those who invoke the violet flame, burn away karma in Costa Rica for the girl and her community, near the border with Panama.. We are all one)

The first words were captured by a secret team of researchers as the Reverend Peter Popoff of Upland, California, stepped onto a stage at San Francisco's Civic Auditorium, where he was about to start a faith healing service that would be videotaped for his weekly national broadcast. The team heard (and captured on tape) an affectionate feminine voice from above: Hello, Petey. I love you! I'm talking to you. Can you hear me? If you can't you're in trouble, 'cause I'm talking as well as I can! (Her voice suddenly becomes businesslike.) ;I'm looking up names right now. This secret team of two was located in a hidden section of the auditorium complex. It consisted of Alec Jason, an electronics expert, and his assistant Bob Steiner. Jason was giving the thumbs-up sign to Steiner as they began a number of surreptitious recordings designed to expose how Reverend Peter Popoff was able to "divinely" recite personal details about audience members and their afflictions during his popular faith-healing services.

Peter Popoff, like many faith healers, calls out the names, illnesses, and sometimes addresses of people at his crusades, then "lays hands" on them and prays for their healing. The impression given at such services is that the information comes directly from God; indeed, a magazine distributed by Popoff's organization described an audience member being "called out by the Spirit for healing". Those in the audience are so impressed by Popoff's "Gift of Knowledge" that they break into applause. The subjects picked are so overwhelmed that they often break into tears. One woman who was "healed" at one of the meetings and later interviewed by CSER stated: " know he is real from the way he talked. He actually knew my address and had no notes to look at! he is real, all right!"

If He knows everything, he knows what we will do before we do it, so is that really 'free will'?

Is it like a Fox TV religious survival show where contestants rival for having the purest souls? Or, are we all admitted because we are all fallible and made of the the same flesh and mortal matter? Were those born before Christ doomed to live in limbo? How limbo can you go? If we are all a part of God; how can we not be a part of his plan? Is there free will or are our futures pre -destined? It is late and I am falling asleep. Good night.

(spiritual enlightment? Just another day? Just another test?)

This morning I woke up, did my "morning routine" prayed and made breakfast. But when I wake up I thank God for this and through out the day, so I guess for me I have another day of enjoyment of this life to look after. Just seeing my family smile s enough pay for me to make more breakfast of clean the house, or work... :) and also be thankful to God. What is your view on this?

Why can't people just give muslims a break. If they havnt got anything nice to say about one's beliefs DONT say anything. Why must muslim haters include themselves in everything that has to be said about muslims. I know many many nice, kind-hearted people and I never expected so many people (The majority) use such offensive language.

Does anyone else find it just a bit hypocritical that the AMA and feminists were once against abortion because

1) it denied women their personal rights
2) demeaned women and made them 2nd class citizens
3) was atrocious the way they were treated by abortionists
4) was atrocious in the percent of women who (a) died as a result of an abortion or (b) suffered medical injuries that were nearly impossible to repair after an abortion.

How does a Mormon reconcile the fundamental LDS teaching that temple marriage is necessary for exaltation to godhood with the teaching of the Lord Jesus & the apostle Paul, who both taught that singleness was preferable to those who could accept it (Matthew 19:10 - 12 & 1 Corinthians 7:1,7 & 8 respectively) ? A contradiction ? Who is right, the word of God or Joseph Smith ? Please use scripture to argue your point. Thank you.

In many societies wisdom=age and We are not saying this is not true. However, the more you think about it the more you realise that "out of the mouths of Babes and sucklings" actual everyday practical wisodm is all around. So, is real wisdom the ability to recognise a wise comment when you hear it? Or is it the ability to do that but also making the time to look and hear so you don't miss a really good thought, which explains the Age/Wise thing?
