Why can't people just give muslims a break. If they havnt got anything nice to say about one's beliefs DONT say anything. Why must muslim haters include themselves in everything that has to be said about muslims. I know many many nice, kind-hearted people and I never expected so many people (The majority) use such offensive language.

I am against terrorism 100% and would love to see sadam rot in hell along with the other terrorists in this world. I am also muslim so please don't believe that muslims don't care when inccocent lives are destroyed by these hateful terrorists. You have to distinguish the different between True Muslims and Terrorists before you make judgments :) Peace to all.

And so I havnt been asleep for the past 25 years and no I am not Polly Anna or whatever. I was just like you before I became muslim. I did not know how offensive people are against muslims and how rude the comments were. Therefore some you will never understand how muslims feel because you were like me. Now I'm muslim I see the full extend of the horrible feedback muslims get and would like to genuinly like to know WHY? Why do you feel it is right, why can't people back off. Thats all.

All I can say is that the media has been very aggressive in their quest for negative images to feed to the masses and unfortunately the larger percentage of the masses believe whatever the news feeds them. Add that to the fact that so many here do not know much about islam other than what is shown, and have not taken the time to educate themselves any further than that, it is not so unheard of for them to become haters. People always dislike or fear the unknown. Ignorance is the media's best friend.

I guess until 9-11, nobody ever really gave Muslims or any other religion much thought.
But since that time, wars involving the Arab world and more specifically those based around radical Muslims have left alot of Christians and other religions wondering why Muslims haven't denounced the violence that is using Allah and the Muslim religion as a catalyst for the atrocities that are being carried out. I'm sure that if a group of say, protestants, started beheading catholics, those in the protestant religion would condemn these acts immediately. Unfortunately Muslims have been tight-lipped and as such, leave one to wonder if they are in favor or against these horrible acts of violence. Hope this helps you understand why people are angry at the Muslim world. I can only hope that Muslim leaders will rise up and begin to denounce these radicals and restore the respect to all peace loving Muslims worldwide.

This may be so. But is it not Islamists
themselves who manipulating the press western, trying to demonise the
western world especially the US the worlds ecomomic and military
superpower.

I think the case is that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Personally I used to sympathise with the certain movements such as the
plight of Palestinians, The Oppression of Saudi women and the plight of
Somalia, Afghanistan and Iraq. But after the genocidal behaviour of
their people, the unreasonable actions in Madrid, London and 9/11 . I
have absolutely no sympathy left for what I consider to be a pathetic
people deluded by Satanic influences with absolutely no ability to look
beyond their own beliefs or respect the viewpoints of others.

An example is the Taliban last week anounced they wish to kill my
innocent children. But I don't support the war in Afghanistan or the US
invasion of Iraq but my children are targets. So as far as I believe
all muslims deserve the fire storm that is coming and they can blame
their Immams and clerics for their deaths and at the end of the day
when they are dead and realise there is no paradise for their bigotted
hatred then it will be too late. I will not shed any more tears for
muslims

Polly Anna attitude....Everything is wonderful. But in a lot of ways you are correct. Muslims are not the problem as a whole. It is a faction of the religion that is taking on the world through the use of terrorism and violence. During World War II our response to Japan bombing us was putting up camps to put Japanese Americans into even though many of them had been born here and were devoted to this country. People in general respond by condemning the whole for the few.

Now on the other side, the terrorist war has taken on a different form. The dangerous ones have just blended themselves into the population as a whole and it is next to impossible to tell who is dangerous and who is not. This tactic has made it very difficult for example for our soldiers to identify the enemy. The media picks it up and condemns our soldiers for killing civilians yet the tactics used by the enemy pretty much guarantees this will be the case to some extent.

Just ramblings from a person who has been involved in the war.

Well, in this regard I would like to say that this is because of media, they represent Muslims in the sense that some how people start hate 'em and biggest mistake people do... they don't want to explorer the reality about Islam!

Islam means peace and it didn't allowed any one to destroy the humanity in any case. Islam is the religion where women gets their rights and justice, unfortunately those little things which we see in whole world creates some major issues (like hunger, lawless communities and unbalance distribution of money and power) put few people on wrong track and religion isn't the part of their statements and sayings. The only solution is in Piratical Islam where a person who has no wealth no power get the same respect as Bill Gates do in our community and there is no difference in poor and wealthy people, further more Islam's finical system wants rich people to give charity to the people in need (without discrimination) and this is mandatory. Islam is the religion, where a women have full rights to tell the Justice that her Man abused/cheated her and she get protection and justice against her enemy with respect. The instant Justice system put it's impact on the community and people know when they will catch in this sentence they will get the same justice without any influence of power. Islam is the way where we have peace of mind. For more information on Islam please contact 1-877-WHY-ISLAM or visit web site http://www.whyislam.org

Media hype.. I'm with you, i was always raised if you ain't got nothing nice to say, dont say nothing at all. People who hate Islam fear it because they dont understand it. I think it says more about themselves than it will every say about Islam. Morgan Spurlock made a t.v. series "30 days" exploring different subject one being a christian man who lived the life of a Muslim for you guessed it 30 days. His opinion in the beginning was usual preconceived ideas of what Muslims are and what they do and discus, (sleeper cells) what a joke. Wanting to end the 30 day experience confirming everything he though to begin with. When in actual fact what happened to him was he found he ended the experience being a more compassionate, understanding and tolerant human being with a deeper understanding of Islam. No one tried to convert him from being a christian, why would they. I think if more people opened there minds and heart they would see, Muslims people are just ordinary people like any other, raising there children, going to work, serving there community, worshiping there god and just trying to live there lives in peace. I know thats all that happens in any muslim household ive ever been in. Or any other denominations household too.

These are just my beliefs, you asked for them so i am going to give them to you. I am sorry that you will not like what i say. I will try and not use any offensive language as i believe this is a strategy of a weak and ungodly spirit. Now then.... Muslims run away from their own country and bring their problems here. They strap bombs to themselves and kill honest hardworking Americans without any remorse. They try and tell the world that if you don't believe as they do then there is going to be trouble. They use force while preaching passivity. They are wolves in sheep's clothing. Have you heard of the false Messiahs and those who will fall victim to their teachings and be led astray? Well in my opinion this is one of them right here. Get a clue, those who live by the sword will die by the sword and right now Muslims are waving that sword in all directions.

The same reason people were against the Nazi's and Japanese in WW II. We are at war with Islam honey. I have a question for you: Why don't the "good Muslims" take a stand against the terrorists? You always see them protest everything that has to do with the U.S. and/or Christianity. Why don't they get offended when one of thier own cuts off the head of an innocent person or blows up innocent people? Get real!

That is what I ask myself. Why would 8 people in this forum go through the trouble of impersonating Muslims to bother non-muslims and make them believe we are bad? If I have nothing better to say I keep my mouth shut.... But if I see anyone being offended I usually speak up....If I am around!
