God is just an idea - made by people, for political and power benefits. no more.
so he can't create you... and if he does - he surely regret for it...

I have too much respect for the idea of God to make it responsible for such an absurd world.

this is a really deep question. maybe God just wanted to have some fun and create something? or maybe God felt guilty for having unlimited power and not doing anything big with it? this is impossible to answer, i bet my answers are way off.

I could answer this question if I were God.
If I am asked why I do a certain thing, I might be able to answer. If I am asked why my neighbor does a certain thing, I might be able to guess by relating to him. But God? He is unlike anything or anybody I can think of. Therefore I can't truthfully say anything about why God does a certain thing.

Or, far more likely, it has nothing to do with god at all.
I mean, a whole universe just so one small planet orbiting a mediocre star. What is the point of all the rest? It is like me building a nuclear power stage just to charge my mobile phone.

no spiritual power created us, we are a part of nature and will return to nature when we die, thats it, nothing else, everything people believe that happens when we die is just the images that are coming to us as our brains are shutting down. what do you thing people believed in before christianity came into popular terms with people, or does everyone think there was no life before christianity

In our case, I think that it was a two fold reason....so that we could have a relationship with Him and so that we could bring Him glory...
The other things you mentioned are just to bring Him glory....just as a good writer or a famous painter garners praise from those who respect their works....so God should receive our praise for creating such a beautiful world.

Because he is lonely and wants someone to love and to love him of their own accord without being made too. Do you have children or know of anyone who does? Ask them why they had kids when it seems that these children bring them countless hours of grief and heartache. Its all about not being alone and having someone who truly loves you for you at your side. Children love their parents no matter what they do or say. This is a powerful thing emotionally and spiritually. This is what God wants. He just wants kids.

1. “O Son of Man!
Veiled in My immemorial being and in the ancient eternity of My essence, I knew My love for thee; therefore I created thee, have engraved on thee Mine image and revealed to thee My beauty.”
2 “Having created the world and all that liveth and moveth therein, He, through the direct operation of His unconstrained and sovereign Will, chose to confer upon man the unique distinction and capacity to know Him and to love Him – a capacity that must needs be regarded as the generating impulse and the primary purpose underlying the whole of creation …”
3. “All men have been created to carry forward an ever-advancing civilization.”

We came into mortality to gain an earthly body, to experience pain and joy for our edification, and to make certain choices that will take us back to the Father after obeying all His commandments.
God's Plan of Salvation was designed to have all His spiritual children experience mortality and gain a body that will one day rejoin the spirit and become immortal for eternity.
