most of the people want to know where god is, how does he look like, is god a male or a female
but nobody tends know that god is right in yourself when u tell a truth when u help someone in need , when u sacrifice something for the well being of someone else
god can be seen in ur parents , teachers
god dwells in a soul which will never loose hope in failure
no one is perfect so the one who tries to brcome half of what perfect means can find god
so the next time if u want to see god just do something good and look in to the mirror
and i do the same too

Thank you for asking seriously. I appreciate honest questions.
I picture God as bigger than the universe, but not in any bodily form. Semi invisable, transparent maybe (that is God the Father) I picture the Holy Spirit as air, and Jesus as a human form (male) in a glorified body still baring the scars of the cross.

When I was a christian I always pictured God as a really tall man (7'-10') with a long white beard that goes down to his golden sandels and he is wearing a long white flowing robe. He should also have a crown full of all kinds of preacious jewels with long white hair that would rest on his shoulders.
But I dont believe in supernatural beings anymore, actually I feel like a fool just admitting that I used too!

I believe in God. When I was younger I pictured God as an older human man in form......but now that I am a little older I picture God as more of a prescence than any specific real shape or form. Great question.....I gave you a thumbs up !

The Bible says no one has seen God (John 1:8). He is all powerful, all knowing, creator of all things. He is outside (above) time and space, which He created! He is immortal and lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or CAN SEE (1 Tim 6:16). He is also invisible (1 Tim 1:17) and nobody can see Him and live (Ex 33:20).
So how can we even know a God like this? Through Jesus Christ, the image of the invisible God (Col 1:15), God in human form (Php 2:7), the exact representation of His being (Heb 13).
Philip asked Jesus to "show us the Father". Jesus answered, "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?" (Joh 14:8-9).
Picture Jesus, came from heaven, born a virgin, lived a sinless life, crucified, buried, risen, ascended to heaven. Then you will have pictured God.

I picture God as the people in the Bible times! You know, those leather sandals, those tunics! But I can't put a face to God's face! Because it is so bright and pure! I imagine Him as a solid form!

God is something that can't be pictured. That's like trying to draw a picture of the wind. Or of light. Or energy. God is the energy that is in us and around us. It's what connects us to the universe, to each other and to every last flea and flower.

God is Spirit. I don't think that Spirit is solid liquid or gas.. Jesus having a body of flesh and bone is solid and is the image of the invisible God. I hope that helps... Jim

I picture God as light.Although, rationally I suppose an argument could be made that Jesus is what God look s like since He was sent to become the word made flesh. Who knows?

In the bible it says God is a spirit. Jesus came in human form to show us what God is really like. He said I and my farther are one saying that He was as much God as His father. As we cannot see God in this life we have to believe in faith. The bible says that one day we shall see as He is. Humanity is the only thing we have so God explains Himself in the things we understand.
