Excusing every kind of behavour so they can excuse their own.
And aren't people who are intolerant, intolerant for the same
reason basically. Because they are in denial of their own
behavour?

I felt they were dismissers, as they kind of wave off the improprities, dismissing it as if it were some kind of a blip

Well in order to effectively answer your question, I would need to know what behavior is being excused and by whom. Then I would need to know what the person excusing said behavior was doing that required excuses for their own. Intolerance can be based on many things. I t could be that the person was raised in an intolerant househole and is simply replaying the mental tape they were fed as a child. Or they could have had a negative experience with one or two of a certain group and decided that the whole group must therefore be the same. It is a subjective thing that is sort of defined by the intolerant individual himself.

I think we live in a world where any thing seems to go with little regards for other peoples sensibilities or beliefs. If we continue in the this way then I believe there will be no morality left in the world and i fear for my children

It rather depends how you have set your stall.

If you are claiming there is one true path and everyone who does not follow it is hellbound you are setting yourself up for one hell of a fall if you contradict yourself in word or deed.

If on the other hand you just accept that we are here for no purpose and have to work it out the best way we can then you have far less far to fall.
