You got it wrong. Haters have trouble understanding what is meant there.. It's just figurative, like seeing a child out playing ball and you call his another Hank Aaron... You need yo unwind... Jim

ok seeker, i'm calling your prents - to take away your computer and give you a new shiny Bible to study !
just kidding, but listening to these people will only confuse you, most know a little and all are incorrect, which is very common. Everyone has an opinion and that is the basis of their religion, instead of knowing the Bible oir how to study it !
Read the entire verse, as well as cross referencing other bible versions, some are DEFINITELY more clear than other ! For example, the New American Bible has bee ncalled the 'Catholic Bible' since it is the most heavily changed and very misleading !
Check out www.biblegateway.com - very powerful tool for study.
OK, now for your question, if you do like I suggested above, you'll see that in earlier verses, it states :
44It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
They are not talking about Jesus at all, they are talking about Adam's first, earthly body, AND his second body, which, when he is resurrected, he will have a new, perfected body, like God's, without need or want, perfect knowledge, heavenly. I know verse 47 sounds misleading, but that's why you need to cross reference other translation too !
Good Luck - let me know if i can help you out any more.

To answer your question, we need to make clear what Paul is refering to when he refers Jesus as the 'last Adam'.
Here, Paul contrasted Christ with Adam. (1 Corinthians 15:45-49) Adam, the first man, “became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7) “The last Adam”—Jesus—“became a life-giving spirit.” He gave his life as a ransom sacrifice, first in behalf of his anointed followers. (Mark 10:45) As humans, they ‘bear the image of the one made of dust,’ but when resurrected they become like the last Adam. Of course, Jesus’ sacrifice will benefit all obedient mankind, including those resurrected on the earth.—1 John 2:1, 2.
Paul was not refering to "Reincanation". Rather at 1 Corinthians 15:45, he refers to Jesus as “the last Adam”, which indicated that God has held on to his original purpose with regard to the earth and that someone will fulfill the purpose that the first Adam failed to carry out.
How much of a difference is there between reincarnation and the hope held out in the Bible? Reincarnation:
According to this belief, when a person dies, the soul, the “real self,” passes on to a better existence if the individual has lived a good and proper life, but possibly to existence as an animal if his record has been more bad than good. Each rebirth, it is believed, brings the individual back into this same system of things, where he will face further suffering and eventual death. The cycles of rebirth are viewed as virtually endless. Is such a future really what awaits you? Some believe that the only way of escape is by extinguishing all desire for things pleasing to the senses. To what do they escape? To what some describe as unconscious life.
Bible: According to the Bible, the soul is the complete person. Even though a person may have done bad things in the past, if he repents and changes his ways, Jehovah God will forgive him. (Ps. 103:12, 13) When a person dies, nothing survives. Death is like a deep, dreamless sleep. There will be a resurrection of the dead. This is not a reincarnation but a bringing back to life of the same personality. (Acts 24:15) For most people, the resurrection will be to life on earth. It will take place after God brings the present wicked system to its end. Sickness, suffering, even the necessity to die, will become things of the past. (Dan. 2:44; Rev. 21:3, 4) Does such a hope sound like something about which you would like to learn more, to examine the reasons for confidence in it?

This isn't talking about reincarnation, but a second chance for humanity.
You see by the sin of adam the entire human race was doomed to a life of sin on a sinful planet. Adam was created sinless and yet he chose to disobey God and this brought consequences from God such as death for the entire human race. That is why we die - originally we were meant to live forever in the presence of God.
Jesus is the second Adam not because he is Adam reincarnated, but because in Jesus we have another sinless man only this time he chose to obey God and by doing so he brings life to the entire human race. Jesus said if we believe on him we will live even though we die, because he is preparing a place for us in heaven.

Yes Jesus was the second Adam Just as Mary was the New Ark of the Covenant. But it doesnt mean that litteraly Jesus and Adam are the same person. Its an expression, if you will. But not an expression. :) (sorry, thats the best explanation I can come up with)

Paul was referring to the resurrection when he made the comments found at 1Cor.15:45.
Adam was created a perfect man. However due to his disobedience,he lost that right for all mankind. We all inherited sin and death from him.
Jesus who was born a perfect man(just as Adam was) and became the 'second Adam' in so much as by sacrificing his perfect human life,Jesus repurchased all mankind from this enslavement to sin and death.
Jesus Christ thus replaces,in effect, the original Adam as our father,or life-giver.That is why Jesus is called 'the last Adam'.So instead of being condemned to die,as children of the sinner Adam, obedient humans may be reckoned worthy to receive everlasting life as children of their "Eternal Father",Jesus Christ - Isaiah9:6.

The first Adam sinned and Jesus came as the second Adam without sin. Adam means beginning, not the man.

It is speaking about Jesus being resurrected from the dead to never die again. He is the FIRSTBORN spiritually from flesh destined to die. It is a comparative statement between ADAM the first son, physically and Christ the first Son, spiritually.
It says Jesus is the LAST ADAM, not the second Adam. Then further down it refers to the first man being fleshy and the second man is from the Lord, heavenly, or spiritual.

He's the second Adam in that he was born sinless. He is not Adam himself reincarnated; it's just allegorical.
