There is no GOD so your question is moot.

God allowed Himself to be punished (as Jesus Christ) for everything everybody did wrong, from Adam to the last person who will ever live. That is not the act of a cruel God. He has given everyone the chance to have their slates wiped clean, to avoid facing His anger and judgement. Every single one of us is worthy of death, because every single one of us has done wrong or failed to do right at some time in our lives. Through Christ we are given Grace and the gift of Eternal Life. That is not the act of a cruel God

What do you mean??
Like one of the posts i just made i told the other person, Why was it that God had the nation of Israel kill men and women and children and animals of other nations??

Reason being they opposed his laws which included worshipping Baal and sacerficing human infants and children by killing them in sacerficial fire. Was is cruel to God to punish them?

Or are you asking why so much suffering? If that is the case, God is allowing Satan and People to attempt to rule themselves. God did give people a paradise and at one time gave them perfect health.. It was not him but persons own selfish choice to go against what God put for everyones benefit.

God isn't cruel, human nature is, when things are going great for people then god is great, when things go bad why is it always gods fault, not fair to blame him for all the wrongs in the world.

I don't think there is anyone answer to your question.......I believe that if we lose some one close to us and they are young then they are just to good for this place.
Not that i'm a believer(i am in two minds about the subject of god) but if he is real then he isnt being cruel by taking those that are suffering that is kindness.
