You might say that God guided Evolution of our kind, and then gave a soul to Adam, and then one to Eve. Even the Pope says evolution is more than just a theory.

do you mean evolutionist and creationist in one? Then yes I am one. I believe that God created the world but it to a long time to develop. in other words Gods 7 days took millions of years so the God could get every thing just right. And we are mammals so therefore we are animals. A different branch of homosapions.

As a lifelong Christian, I see no issue with following science. Your faith must be strong enough to stand up to cold, hard facts.

I believe in God. I believe God did not just snap Her fingers. Science, to me, is the study of the handiwork of God. the beauty of this is that people with differing or no religious beliefs can find value in science. After all, my faith does not exist to coerce others but to comfort me.

What do I care if someone declares my belief that there is a God to be silly?

Conversely I will not pervert the work of god by pretending it's all magic. The world is right in front of us, ignoring it because it makes you uncomfortable is a disservice.

that is indeed what i believe .. and no i have not got all the answers to justify my beliefs
but i do believe that there is an ultimate energy ... something bigger than us ... but also that we have evolved on this planet due to climate and geographical changes
i have seen evidence of both .. i cannot deny both ... so i seek to find answers
