I do it to try and get people thinking about things that are personal to them - I want them to answer from the heart rather than rehash what they were taught.

What I have been taught by God, is inbedded into my heart and has become what I really do feel, because I stand in complete agreement and acceptant of the word of God, being the total truth.. Praise the Lord!

Sorry to disagree, but a person is better off obtaining knowledge and live and answer by that.

i usually ask a question for two reasons
one to point something out to people who have been rude and ignorant to others ( reverse psychology )
the other is if i simply dont understand something about a religion
