I think so! Look at that Haggard guy---what a hoot! A meth addict too.

Well, people do tend to be more severe with others who are so like them.

So this is happening where I live

A Christian man has been approaching an elementary school 3 days in a row because he wants to preach to the staff and students about God.

3 times he has been escorted away and now the cops have been called in. Do you think this is right...?

I do. NOT because he is religious but for the sole reason that he is not allowed on school property without permission. If I found out that a man was REPEATEDLY approaching the school where my children go and not listening to authorities I would be livid.

Where are your thoughts on the matter. If he is preaching God's words, do that make it okay? Or does the safety of our children take precedence?

When Jesus said "Father God, forgive them for they know not what they do !!" Was He referring to all humanity from all time ?
What about suicides, like Judas ?
Was he forgiven for what he did to himself ?

Did Jesus say, "All sin I will forgive, except one = Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit !!!"

Those that Blasphemed the Holy Spirit did so by saying the miracles Jesus did were by the spirit of satan, saying Jesus was demon possessed.

All religions believe they have the absolute truth. How do you
know when you have it? If God wants us to serve Him, why doesn't he manifest which religion has the absolute truth? Since He has not done that, is it logical to conclude that no one has the "truth"? I thought God is not a God of confusion.

I know there are alot of "religous" churches out there. I worshiped at a pentecostal church and recently the Lord has shown me what the true church is, that He is building and not a man or men

realize that if you're truly a Christian and love God, you should never wish anyone to hell? You should love even your enemies, and pray for them.
Sorry, but it if you wish that upon someone there's hatred in your heart and that's not Christianity.

It has been my experience that the one who judges is someone who cannot judge themselves. That one has to live in the comparison of how others live theri life, instead of living their own.
It is the comparison that supports that one is above the other. Isnt this very judgement of what keeps mankind bounded to his preconceptions of his fellow man, and does not allow him to take a step foward. Do we create our own hell here on earth by not allowing heaven to exist from the love and acceptance of our arms. Yes Jesus died, but he did not die for our sins he died from our sins upon him. He was the message to mankind that if judgement and hypocricy ruled the hearts of man then we would crucify one another, just as we did him. What do you think
Just wondering. I wish you well

Why do some religious people try to force their beliefs on you? I have many friends that are VERY religious, and they always try to make me believe what they do. It was alright for a while but now it's getting really ******* annoying. I am an atheist, and they can't seem to except that. How can I nicely let them know that since I don't ******* care that they believe in God why should they care that I don't?

This is not meant to be antagonistic toward non-Christians, and in fact is not really directed to non-Christians at all (though anyone is free to comment). I am just interested to see how different, if at all, is the sentiment in our nation toward the importance of Christianity in government today as opposed to the time of our founding….Here is the quote:

John Jay (First chief justice of the Supreme Court, one of the three men most responsible for the Constitution) – “Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty – as well as the privilege and interest – of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers”.

Thanks….

After witnessing Jesus feed over
5000 people, many wanted to "take Him by force and make Him king" (John
6:15). But the next day when Jesus talked about being the bread from
heaven and said, "He who eats this bread will live forever" (John
6:58), many who had followed Him across the sea and listened to Him
speak "went back and walked with Him no more" (John 6:66). An honest
evaluation of Jesus will either lead to a complete embrace or a total
rejection.

Seem to think we want to hear about their personal issues? I have a guy in my office that is a Jehovah and man he wants to share EVERYTHING with EVERYBODY. Even his personal stuff down to his colonoscopy - DUDE I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THAT. He also thinks that people should come share EVERYTHING with him... I don't think so. Then he'll share your stuff with others including his family... I've met a couple other Jehovahs and they were the same way. WHY - WHY ARE THEY LIKE THAT? So I just ignore him most of the time. When his wife calls the office she will ask all kinds of questions & share info with ya too. Man it drives me crazy some times. Especially when I'm busy - I don't have time for that stuff........ Again I'm venting here OK.. So if you can share some insight I'd appreciate it or share your peeves.
