It is true that true Christianity is peaceful toward all.
Hence the 'Sermon on the Mount' at Matthew 5.
One who hates his brother, whom he can see, cannot be loving God, whom he cannot see.

I agree - some people who call themselves Christian are just going through the pious "better-than-you" motions. We will all find out who the real Christians are at Judgment Day - there will be a lot of surprised individuals who won't be written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

Some people get it into their heads that their dogma is universal truth, and everything that contradicts that dogma is wrong. Some people are just like that.
I personally feel that they can believe what they want to about any number of social issues - but when they start trying to restrict people's rights and change the Constitution, then it's a problem.
The solution is to vote DEMOCRATIC on November 7!

You should never wish anyone to Hell, you're right! That is why Jesus tells us:
Jude 1:23
snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.
--We should be lights to this world. Loving others- and by sharing the gospel of Truth to them, we are loving them! Pray for them, YES! Just as Christ laid down his life for us- We are to warn others of the death that sin causes- that is love, when you WANT others to know about Jesus! And to share his wonderful truth IN LOVE- not condemn them or judge them- but share the truth in Love~

I agree. Christians really need to work on that. Instead of hating people, pray for them. Prayer works miracles.

You can tell them by their fruit.
People who wish others would go to hell, are NOT Christians.

That's why I'm not Catholic/Christian any more... I realized I'm human and I needed to understand what a human being was before thinking about my religion.
Now I'm a better person without any religion.

It's not Christianity, it is being human. Just because you have a belief in God, does not mean you won't make poor decisions. Making blind judgemental statements is not the Christian thing to do, either.
