If they are truly Muslim - yes.

If they are truly Muslim, they will not look for the differences between other faith's and their own, they will look for what they share in common. Every true Muslim knows that what I've just said is the truth.

The second Surah of the Qur'an (Al Baqarah) says:

The Jews, the Christians, the Muslims, the Sabeans and all those who work righteousness shall have their reward in Heaven.

I'm not fond of pumping out quotes but I think that's possibly THE most important quote of all the world's scriptures. And the only people who will have a problem with that quote will be some Atheists, Anti Christians/Satanists and the huge ammount of people who are believers for one day a week - when they go to their church/ mosque/ temple etc.

What we should do is accept that there are many ways to God but in this world they are all hard, rocky roads lined with temptation.

On those roads there are huge traffic jams/ grid lock and the traffic is controlled by the Devil. Some people switch roads half way through their journey to find that their new road is just as difficult but they might prefer the scenery. Others start to honk their horns, argue with every body else, crash in to people and give up trying to get where they are going. Some look accross at the different roads and become so angry that people choose to be driving in a different way to them and on a different road - they start to hate the other road users. They hate them so much they start to attack them, blow them up and destroy the road their on all in the name of God. When they do this, they have to get out of their cars and abandon them for a little while which makes the traffic jam on their road worse for those on the same road who are stuck behind them.

The Devil wants them to attack each other because eventually their will be no roads left to God just endless miles of blackened, burned out car wrecks that are impossible to climb over. Even though we can all see this happening we can't do anything to stop it.

People from the other roads attack us even though we don't have any greivance with them and as soon as they attack, we want to attack them back and it makes us distrust everybody on different roads to ourselves. We convince ourselves that we're the only ones on the right road and suspect that the others are evil and are probably the cause of the traffic jam. Before long, nobody knows who attacked who first - we just know that every body on every road just keeps on attacking each other.

People are angry at God and shout at the sky saying "Why don't you do something?!!!". God replies, "You all have Highway codes for your roads and if you follow the rules of the road, you won't get stuck in traffiic and your journey will be much easier....and you should concentrate on the road ahead, not what others are doing." but those people shouting at God are too busy too listen and besides, they think they know better than God.

Most road users are so caught up in the conflict and the traffic jam that they don't look at the road signs but a few from all the roads have seen the signs saying "THIS WAY TO THE QUIET, CALM RELAXING ROAD". They turn off their road and drive up to a flyover where they can see all the other roads and they think: isn't it peaceful here?

They see that all the other people on the road are from all the other roads, people that they thought were once their enemy. They look across at each other and smile at each other, some stop by the side of the road and talk to each other. They discuss how strange it all is that we're all heading in the same direction and yet end up in such a mess going that way. They thank God for showing them the way and for showing all those from the different roads how to get to the quiet road for all roads. Some of the people on that road don't believe that any of the roads are real, they say to the others " I think it's all a big illusion anyway but I'd rather be here with you than with all those maniacs down there fighting each other. We all get along fine."

The believers reply "Yeah we'll get along OK and you may not believe now but you're on the right road. Once we get there, you won't have any doubt at all." The non believers laugh and say "I'm not even sure were we're going but if any of you guys need some help just call us, OK?"

The believers say, "Just follow the path we're on and we'll have very few problems. We just have to follow the rules of our own road and make sure we drive carefully because all the rule books and highway codes say the same thing anyway."

The Devil hates this and plants false diversions all over this road claiming to offer the way to a quicker road where you can have whatever you want and the promise of the highest places when you arrive at your destination. He sends some of the people from the other roads to go and attack this quiet road and cause problems on it but they soon get bored and irritated by people being nice to them so they head back down to the other roads to drive recklessly and dangerously in the opposite direction to everybody else.

The real important answer to your question is that all Muslims are human and have flaws just like everybody from every faith. Muslims believe that the bible has been corrupted over the years by mankind which is true. There are parts of the Bible which are missing and have been badly translated. This is true of all scriptures and adding the words "and if any man corrupts these words they shall surely burn in hell ....blah blah....." has only ever erved to encourage men to add their own little bits and twist and turn the meanings to suit their own selfish, greedy purposes.

You can corrupt scripture in many ways either in writing or by mouth. Every scripture is corrupted every day to make soldiers fight each other. Some Imams twist the words of the Qur'an and some Priests twist the words of the Bible etc. Any good Muslim will know this is the truth and will accept the Bible as equally important to them as the Qur'an. The differences in the text will mean nothing to them. They will know that the ten commandments do not conflict with the Qur'an in any way.

Any true Christian or Jew will also accept the Qur'an as being a Holy Book and not seek to enter in to an arguement over the differences.

I've had a "Muslim" tell me that the Qur'an teaches that it's ok to sell and take drugs while he attempted to sell me heroin, cannabis or cocaine. Some Muslims would say that is because of the way the West corrupts good Muslims. That event happened in India so proves it has nothing to do with western influence. In the West, none of us are forced to look at porn, take drugs, attack each other etc. but people choose to do it. The same things happen in Muslim countries despite Shariah Law.

There is a "red light" district in Mecca.

So really some muslims will believe in the bible, some won't. The important thing is not how they're driving it's important you concentrate on how you're driving.

Ask yourself what you believe.

Just so you don't think I'm sitting on the fence, I read all scriptures including the Qur'an, the Bible, the Tao ti Ching, The Upanishads, The Nag Hamadi texts etc. I believe they are all equally valid and all equally Holy and accurate in their present form.

I believe in God not religion.

If you disagree, please email me through answers with your reasons put calmly and rationally. Don't start shouting and screaming.

lets look at the history of the Bible. The Bible was given to Jesus (pbuh). Muslims call the Bible Injeel which was changed and also the Torate (Torah) and Zaboor. These 3 books where guidance From Allah to the Muslims however they were changed and so the Glorious Quran was the last and final complete word of Allah given to mankind by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), the Prophet was illiterate which showed that He could not have made the Quran.

The Bible we see today is not what a Muslims follows but the Quran.

Kate M- I see you two are brainwashed by the mass media? Well it seems like it..Well ask you self this, There is approx 16 billion Muslims in the world and if all Muslims are terrorists why arnt they bombing the world right now?

Killing one person is like killing the whole of mankind, don’t judge Islam by the Muslims but by the Holy books

Common sense- Islam wasn’t invented. Islam dates back to Adam and Eve and the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) completed Islam with the aid of the Quran (sent down by Allah by angel Jibrail) The Prophet memorised the Quran (well the revelations were given a chapter at a time), he then spread the words to the Muslims (that had converted). The Muslims wrote the words of the Quran on pots, tree’s walls just anything they could find so they wouldn’t forget it, The Prophet (pbuh) checked to see if they were right. Ones the revelation of the Quran was complete the Quran was then put in order and the knowledge was given out to the world. For more info please search this

Allah challenges any one to copy the Quran and no one has even thought the shortest surah Qosar (contains about 2 lines) hasnt even been copied

Muslims believe that God revealed a message to Jesus. This message was recorded in the Bible. However Muslims believe that because the Bible has since been changed by people, todays version of the Bible contains untruths, and so Muslims do not believe in its teachings.
Muslims believe in the Quran which was revealed to the final Prophet Muhammad by God.

Muslim's claim to believe in the torah (torat) and the writings of David, the Psalms (zabur) and the Gospel (Injil). However when it comes to the Bible in our hands today they consider it corrupted, not being accurate as it was written. Because of this God gave the restored truth to Mohammed which is written down in the Qur'an. They claim the Qur'an is the full and final revelation of God, and that Mohammed is the seal of all the prophets. Their claim is that Mohammeds writings are verbally inspired having in their possession an absolute perfect copy, so it supersedes the Bible. Because of this view the Bible is always interpreted by what the Qur'an says first. When becoming engaged in a conversation with a Muslim one quickly finds themselves confronted with circular reasoning. What the Qur'an does is abolish the authority of the Bible. Their Injil says Jesus never died or resurrected. When asked, how do you know the Qur'an is true? They answer because Mohammed said so. How do you know he is the prophet, the Qur'an says so. So they go in a circle to prove either one.

The Bible is mentioned in the Quran as the Holy Book of Jesus and Christians. It is the word of God. Since it has contradictions with the Quran, we are convinced its been tampered with. Forgive me, but it is common since, if our Holy Book says God does NOT have a son/Jesus is only a Prophet, then do you want me to believe that the copy available now is the one that was around when Jesus was alive? No way. Sorry, no offence.

Yes. We believe in Bible. Its part of our basic faith.
There are 7 beliefs (or say faiths) without which a Muslim's faith is incomplete. These are The God(Allah), all Prophets(pbuh), All (4) revelations (Bible, Torah, Zaboor and Quran), Allah's Angels, spirit, and the Judgment day.

Well when you research western historical past, and suppose approximately the clash among catholics and protestants, that relatively is not all that exclusive from the islam waging battle on judiasm/christianity. Imo, anybody that makes use of their faith as a justified motive to kill anybody is a energy tripping enthusiast. Christ used to be a pacifist. True christians are pacifists. And from what my muslim neighbors inform me, the qur'an strongly condemns losing the blood of innocents. So every body walking round screaming "God is on our part" whilst they shoot every different and blow every different up is a hypocrite so that it will most probably be judged as a consequence.

1. Revelation sent in every period
The Glorious Qur’an mentions in Surah Rad, chapter 13 verse 38

"For each period is a book (revealed)."
[Al-Qur’an 13:38]

2. Four revelations of God mentioned by name in Qur’an

By name, only four revelations of God are mentioned in the Qur’an i.e. Torah, Zaboor, Injeel and the Qur’an

Torah is the revelation which was given to Moses (pbuh)

Zaboor is the revelation which was given to David (pbuh)

Injeel is the revelation which was given to Jesus (pbuh)

and Qur’an is the last and final revelation which was given to the last and final Messenger Muhammad (pbuh).

3. All the previous revelations sent only for their people
All the revelations that came before Qur’an were only sent for their own people and were to be followed only for a particular time period.

4. The Qur’an sent for whole humankind
Since the Qur’an is the last and final revelation, it was not sent only for the Muslims or the Arabs but it was sent for the whole of humankind. It is mentioned in:

Muslims believe the bible originally came from God but has been corrupted by man. They generally accept most everything in it up until the point when Abraham brings Isaac as a sacrifice.

According to Islam, that's where the bible begins to go astray can claim that it was Ishmael who was bound, not Isaac.

Of course, until Mohammed invented this novelty in a drug-induced delirium, no one ever thought as much.

I am a Muslim. I've read the Bible, and believe in it. Our holy book is the Koran, but in it, it says that we should accept the Bible also, because it came from God before the Koran. I read both, the Koran and the Bible, and they are very, very similar. So, yeah. I hope it answers your question. : )

You have to be very careful how you word a question to a muslim. You also have to be very cautious in how you try to intrepret their answer.

Muslims do believe that the Bible is "a holy book" but at the same time they say that it is basically useless because it is so badly corrupted. This is so that they don't have to explain Muhammed's very poor knowledge and understanding of either Judaism or Christianity when he was inventing islam.
