Christianity is trusting in Christ as your Savior, and letting him be in control of your daily life, but baptism is just a way that Christians show they have been saved. Baptist people complete the action of baptism by having, a head person in the church dunk them under water in a small pool of water. This resmebles jesus before he died, while he was dead, and after he rose from the dead. Although, just because someone gets baptized, that doesn't make them a Christian.

baptism is an act of obedience after being born again, aka becoming a Christian (follower of Christ). Some believe that baptism is what gets you to heaven. they are incorrect, it is believing that Jesus Christ died for your sins. Baptism is the first act of obedience demonstrating the washing away of your sins through the blood of Christ. Christ was baptized by John the Baptist.

Baptism is the outward symbol made before men, of a dedication already made in one's heart to do the will of God.

Christianity is the belief that Jesus the Christ is God's means for salvation, and being obedient to his commands and accepting him as the Messiah of God.

If you meant Baptist, that is a form of Protestant Christianity.
