I'm leaving for good tonight because tomorrow (November 4th) is my birthday and I don't want to waste anymore time on here.

BTW, I'm a Christian.

From today's newspaper:

"One of the nation's most influential conservative Christian leaders, the Rev. Ted Haggard, resigned yesterday as president of the National Association of Evangelicals and temporarily stepped aside as pastor of a Colorado mega-church after a self-described male escort accused him of paying for gay sex.

Haggard, an outspoken opponent of same-sex marriage, vigorously denied the allegation. "Never had a gay relationship with anybody, and I'm steady with my wife. I'm faithful to my wife," he told a Colorado television station.

If we measure how much we value life, solely by our dread of dying, then it may well be that we have no sense of its value... at all

Basically my question is exclusively for practicing Hindus ! Nithyananda Mahaprabhu is an incarnation of Adishesha- the divine multi-headed serpent of Lord Vishnu. He was incarnated as Laxmana, Balrama & then as Nithyananda Mahaprabhu. He is worshipped by many Kannadigas, Konkanis & Tulus. By worshipping who will I get more material benefits - Shirdi Sai Baba or Nithyananda Mahaprabhu ?

During voluntary work I come across a lot of people who have had problems with crime and anger. One person I met told me he had become a Christian, and that he had been forgiven his previous misdeeds-fine so far, however he went on to say that he would be forgiven if he committed further misdeeds as long as he asked forgiveness from God he would get it.
I have no interest in persuading him not to believe in the concept of God's forgiveness, if that works for him that's fine, but still I would like to be able to point out his errors in those thoughts from a Christian perspective, that's if there is an error? it certainly seemed a consistent argument he was putting forward, unfortunately he is not too bright, and I almost made up a biblical story that ended with people with those thoughts being likely to go to hell, but that would have been disingenuous in the extreme. Thanks in advance for any serious answers from Christians.

Some believe God is everywhere, where exactly is all the demons and bad a$s spirits and angles then? What about the Christian boogy man aka Satan. Can these bad spirits pretend to be good spirits or even pretend to be God?

Some of man’s greatest achievements have been motivated by a driving need for love and acceptance. What happens when that need for recognition, becomes a desire to be revered, and then worshipped... like a god?"

I knew a preacher who used to say, he would rather SEE a
sermon, than HEAR one any day. Shouldn't we do a little MORE
practicing, and a little LESS preaching? Setting the EXAMPLE?
Instead of condemning everyone to hell who doesn't agree with
everything we say?
