All Muslims are NOT the same. There are good and bad Muslims just as there are good and bad Christians, Jews, Chinese, Indians, Burmese, Singaporeans, Kenyans, Eritreans, Somalis, French....

It is unfair to judge a group for the wrongs (or rights) of one.

People should only be judged as a group when they act as a group. For instance, if I go to a church and several members of the congegration tell me I'm going to h*ll and everyone else either agrees or does nothing, they have acted as a group by failing to be individuals and thus deserve to be treated as a group. If I'm talking to an individual christian who tells me I'm going to h*ll, I only judge that person, not the church he may go to.

As individuals, though, no one is the same. It's not really fair to say that Jews (or Muslims or Chrisitians, etc) are all the same based on what a few individuals have done.

No, it's one of the most frustrating things that I come across. People should be viewed as individuals and never lumped into groups. It's one of the reasons I will never label myself. When you do that it separates you from others. I find that not all Christians believe the same things. They may have a same core belief but after that it varies. That goes with Muslims and Hindus and countless other religions. I never assume I know what someone believes by the label they choose for their selves.

No! Muslims, like Christians, Jews and even Hindus are not the same. They vary from from most moderate and tolerant liberals to religious extremists and fanatics.

We are getting all confused about Muslims because of the current war on terrorism. How can we stereotype the Muslims alone as extremists?

Now, Iranian women's rights activists are campaigning to remove the sentence of death on women by stoning. The Iranian judiciary acknowledged that stoning sentences issued by lower courts are invariably quashed on appeal.

Under the British 'raj' the age-old 'sati' practice of burning Hindu widows was abolished.

In every religion, there are good and bad people. Therefore, all Christians, or all Muslims and All Jews aren't the same. People of the same religion may have similar beliefs or values, but each person is unique

No but my primary criticism is the astounding lack of response from them about the violence being done in the name of Islam. There is almost no one publicly condemning it without excuses that blame the victims. That makes all but the two I have heard at least complicit.

But on the other hand this question is here about 10 times a day. If you really want to change attitudes you have to start with the cause. Not by criticizing the people who see you that way.

What have you done today to stop terrorism?

We're no more all the same than all rutabagas are the same.

God delights in diversity within identity. One of the many paradoxes with which He fills creation. Hey! When you're infinite and eternal you got room for all kinds of fun stuff!

And you should not be judging anyone at all! Judge not, lest ye be so judged. With what judgement you make so shall you be judged. Not a pleasant thought, especially if you tend to be harsh and intemperate in your judgements.

Of course you can make comments. If you're in the USA you got free speech. You are at liberty to make as big an a$$ of yourself verbally as you want. Have fun!

Well, on a genetic level scientists say we are all like 99.9% the same, Muslims, Jews and Christians. It's the .1% that makes each one of us special.

It is a very good thing to lump all people into one catagory. It saves times and allows you to think in more extreme terms. For instance, all Christians hate gays, all Muslims want to kill people, and all Jews own mansions in Hollywood. However, one shouldn't stop at religion. Remember that all white people can't dance, all black people like watermelon, and all gay people can start thier own home decorating business. And also be aware that all Democrats are liberal God-haters that don't want to work and all Republicans are angry war mongers that hate poor people.

Now as a Muslim myself i loath you for asking if we should all be judged as a group.
1stly who are we to judge?
2ndly i do not and hope i am never included in the group of extreme so called Muslims that go around blowing themselves up (even though we know suicide is a sin)and not tolerant to other religions.
Everyone is different no one should be judged as a group.
