Well here's something that it's definitely not: Genetic.

That being said, what causes a person to become a homosexual? What cultural influence cause this divergent behavior? Even if a person says he never "chose" to be gay, does that necesarrily mean he/she was born that way? For instance do crazy people choose to be crazy?

What makes people so sure homosexuality is natural? What does science have to say about the subject?

Do people have a reason for thinking people are born a certain sexuality or is that just what they believe without any evidence?

I'm not denying that it is supposedly "the word of god": however, people who believe it still believe it was written by humans: diciples, Paul, etc. Since Christ was supposedly the only perfect human, why is it that these men could not have made mistakes?

If it's a holiday based on Evil then why associte with it at all? Isn't that a bit hyppocritical?

then why did he create such sinful humans (needing ultimate destruction such as the people of Sodom and Gomorrah and all those who died in the great flood? When to do so would be to condemn them with full knowledge as to how they would act-free will being a nonfactor because an omnipotent God knows how his subjects will react, regardless of free will? Not trying to dispell religion, just seeking answers.

Why do we bash one another, and not understand one anothers perspective?

For the record, I am Christian, and have studied all major religions.

It seems to me that it would be a whole lot simpler than trying to understand the mindset of someone of the opposite sex. I wish I could have chosen that, I'm just not geared that way. That being said, how can you call it a choice? Could you try and put yourself in the mindset to be attracted to something you're not attracted to?

Does everyone mingle with everyone else? Is it like one whopping great dinner party? Are spirits 'tribal', in the sense that they only stick with other spirits (family/friends etc) they knew when they were alive? Does everyone float around on big clouds?

I'm not trying to be facetious, I just find the concept of heaven very difficult to grasp.

"In extreme cases there can be little doubt of the superiority of one race to another.... It seems on the whole fair to regard negroes as on the average inferior to white men, although for work in the tropics they are indispensible, so that their extermination (apart from questions of humanity) would be highly undesirable."

1 john 1:9 says If we admit we have sinned and confess our sins, He [Jesus] is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
These are the words the Apostle John wrote.

Jesus' words:
Matthew 6:12, 14,15: (in the Our Father Prayer),
"And forgive us our debts[sins], 'as we have also forgiven[left, remitted, and let go of all the debts, and have given up all resentment against] our debtors'"
vs 14 "For IF you forgive people their trespasses[sins, their reckless and willful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up all resentment], then your heavenly Father will also forgive you !!"
vs. 15 Jesus speaking
"But IF you do Not forgive others their trespasses[their reckless and willful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up all resentment], neither will your Father in heaven forgive you your trespasses[sins] !!"

1 john 1:9 is totally dependent on the words of Jesus in Mattthew 6:12, 14, 15 wouldn't you say?

I find that most people that I encounter will be respectful and reasonable if you offer the same up front.

I have many friends that like me are Christians, some that have no faith at all, some who worship a different God or worship their own ability.

I have many that have questioned me very closely on what I believe and I welcome that. I love to share my faith in God with all.

I've come to a place where I truely love and respect everyone. Yes..there will be those you choose not be the carbon-copy of my views and that's okay.

When my mistakes are added up they will surpass you all...I will lead that pack.

Here's what I believe we all should share: Kindness, love, honoring each other, respect, frienship to the friendless, offer hope to the hopeless, mercy in buckets, grace to those who have failed in some area in their life.

just my thought's...I'd like yours

Because I don't understand why some people have an issue with women wearing a veil. If you don't like it then don't wear it, but why do you care if she does? Why so much hatred over a veil, or is it not the veil but Islam. Thats the only conclusion I can come up with. These people who have a problem with a women in a veil would have the same problem with her if she was not wearing it because she is Muslim.
