For the record, Jesus did have African ancestry. Moses who was an ancestor of Jesus, had a wife from Cush. This was an African country. I do not think it is important as to what color our Lord was. Just that he died for our sins. Whatever color he was, he is the son of the Most High God, Jehovah.
If he was anything like the ancient Jews at the time, I think he probably was very dark complected. More like an Arab. We could all be wrong. Just speculating. What should it matter anyway? He died once for all mankind. The Bible says that all nations and tribes would stand before the throne. He loves us all. I would fall on my face in adoration, no matter what color he is. He is my savior!

Doesn't really matter since He's the Son of God. If you consider the country He was born in and the Jewish back ground, as much as some don't want to admit it He probably had darker skin, dark hair, and eyes. He would look more like people from the middle east. Why would anyone care? He is our Savior either way.

Jesus is a Jew. Most Jews are dark complected. If Jesus was an African I'd say Jesus is black. If Jesus was a European or Asian, I'd say white. Either way Jesus came to save the world, no matter what color you are.

I don't know if he was black... But I seriously doubt that he is the blonde hair blue eyed man depicted in most pictures and images.

Maybe not black, but it is doubtful that he was white either. Probably a nice hue of brown.

Does it really matter? He loves all people of all colors.
If you want to know what color He was while on earth, look at the folks in Israel now. Again, not that it matters what color He is or was.
Peace.
