I NEVER bash at anyone's religion. I never even discuss religion with my Christian friends/colleauges, we will get nowhere since we have differences. They are such good people. Some R as dear as my Muslims friends.

I have read parts of the quran and I am christian. However, my father is a pakistani muslim and he still hasnt read even half of the quran, and I havent read all of the Bible. I agree that we shouldnt bash eachother, but I do know the Bible says to argue your point according to your belief, and to not point fingers at others like that. It is showing others the love that is in Jesus that we are supposed to be doing, not hurting others with stinging words.

The Koran does not fit with either the christian bible or the jewish torah> for one, the muslims changed the gospels to fit their new relgion, the muslims also replaced Isaac w/ Ishmael as the son that abraham sacrificed, when it was clearly recorded as Isaac by the jews> muslims deny the cruxifiction of Jesus in the koran when the bible states other wise, there is also historical evidence from a ncient historians such as josephus, tacitus, pliny, seutonius> am I correct??

Knowledge is power and leads to greater understanding of ideas that we are not familiar with initially. Many Chritians do not read the Bible, but take out quotes to back a position. The Bible is the story of contractual love between Creator and Creation.
Promoting understanding over hatred shows that you do understand God's message to us.

i have read bible , as a muslims . but after reading it i found myslef in confusion ..
the real bible , which was revealed on prophet jesus pbhu. was changed 300-400 yrs after jesus was taken up by God ..due to personal reasons of the ppl of the time .. so its not a holy word any more .. thats why u find contradictions in it .. n holy word shud no thave ny contradictions !
but koran is the final holy book .. n cannot be chnaged that is why after 1400 of revealtion , its still in its real n original form .. !
u find koran without any contradictions !

I have read both bible and quran among other books. Bible in hebrew is translated to "book of stories" in english. So the bible is exactly as it is quoted. Book of stories. Quran is translated to "recitation". Even in the hadith, it mentions the book of stories. This is referring to the bible. I believe in the old testament, but not the new testament(I want to say "at all", but I know jesus existed. I just won't accept he is who many say and believe he is). I mean I know jesus(isa) is son of mary. Not son of GOD. And she concieved him without intercourse by a breathe of air from gabriel(jibril). But no, he is not lord. Hence, he did not pray to himself. Many will say he is son of GOD. But another will say he is lord of lords, king of kings. It is like they will worship him and use the son of GOD and the trinity belief as thier escape goat. What is more miraculous? Having GOD create a man(adam-pbuh which actually means "man" in hebrew) from earth with no father nor mother? Or jesus from the womb of a virgin(a catholic once told me that virgin just meant "young female" in those days)? Why can't we just apreciate all the proofs GOD gives and recognise that we can not be wiser than HER. Nor knowledgable, potent, etc. That sometimes our ignorance and arrogance can always get the best of us. PEACE!
BTW- The end part of my response was not geared at you per se. It is geared for everyone, including myself. Take care!
Edit: To answer your second part, pure ignorance. Not even lack of comprehension. People will mock something they will not even learn about before they even bash it. As if they know better. My favorite reason to the religous crisis in the world is "intolerance to tolerance"-Me. PEACE!

I have, both of them.
Human nature, even since the time of Adam and Eve, we want to be on top, we want to be the winner, we want to be right and the others wrong. who ever we are, we want to be number one. All of us want that, only the method of getting it differ. Human nature as simple as that.
I am a Christian, and happy to be one. It works for me, and if it doesn't for others, that is their choice. Christianity is for me, not Islam, respectfully. Live and let live everyone and all other faiths.
