There you will find Christians that do not teach or believe the trinity.
They use the bible, and have done the research into the original languages.
Old Testament:
In fact, the New World Translation is a scholarly work. In 1989, Professor Benjamin Kedar of Israel said:
"In my linguistic research in connection with the Hebrew Bible and translation, I often refer to the English edition as what is known as the New World Translation. In doing so, I find my feeling repeatedly confirmed that this kind of work reflects an honest endeavor to achieve an understanding of the text that is as accurate as possible. Giving evidence of a broad command of the original language, it renders the original words into a second language understandably without deviating unnecessarily from the specific structure of the Hebrew....Every statement of language allows for a certain latitude in interpreting or translating. So the linguistic solution in any given case may be open to debate. But I have never discovered in the New World Translation any biased intent to read something into the text that it does not contain."
New Testament:
While critical of some of its translation choices, BeDuhn called the New World Translation a “remarkably good” translation, “better by far” and “consistently better” than some of the others considered. Overall, concluded BeDuhn, the New World Translation “is one of the most accurate English translations of the New Testament currently available” and “the most accurate of the translations compared.”—Truth in Translation: Accuracy and Bias in English Translations of the New Testament.
“Here at last is a comprehensive comparison of nine major translations of the Bible:
King James Version,
New American Standard Bible,
New International Version,
New Revised Standard Version,
New American Bible,
Amplified Bible,
Today's English Version (Good News Bible),
Living Bible,
and the New World Translation.
The book provides a general introduction to the history and methods of Bible translation, and gives background on each of these versions. Then it compares them on key passages of the New Testament to determine their accuracy and identify their bias. Passages looked at include:
John 1:1; John 8:58; Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 1:15-20; Titus 2:13; Hebrews 1:8; 2 Peter 1:1

Begin reading the scriptures--the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Jesus Christ is the same Jehovah of the Old Testament so wherever it says, "thus saith the Lord" it is Christ talking. In some Bibles within the New Testament, Jesus' words are shown in red.
Most important, as you read the scriptures, fast and pray for the Spirit to manifest the truth to you. You must be sincere in this. It is through the Holy Ghost that we receive the truth of God the Father and His Son.
I hope you continue and don't give up easily.

Find you a Bible that you can read...I highly suggest the Christian Holman Bible...for it integrates various translations into one all stemming from the same Word of God. The Bible has never been changed or altered, so I believe that is where the majority of your confusion is. Most people who say that it has been, are misinformed. And you can go to any Christian bookstore (even online - check out LifeWay.com), and find referencial books and texts to help you understand this better. Also, find a good Bible concordance and dictionary to study with. And if you are really into seeing the Word line up in different translations, they also do have Bibles out there that have up to 4 translations in one Bible so you can cross reference them. Have fun, it is a joruney studying the Word, but it is an awesome one! :)

I'm not a christian and never would be but I've read the Gospel according to St Thomas and found the writting quite beautiful. Its said to be the closest to what Jesus said but has been banned by the church and decreed as heresy. Try reading that it says a lot.

Please, do not believe what some will say about the Bible being changed. As a muslim, you know Allah is all powerful, right? Since Allah has no end to His power, He never would allow His message to be as corrupted as unbelievers try to tell you.
I would suggest you get a copy of the New International Version of the Bible; or you could go to www.biblegateway.com and select "NIV" as the version you wish to read.
Start with the Gospel of John, which emphasizes Jesus' relationship with God.
Peace.

Dear Ali,
I have built a web site to help all who want to understand more about the Holy Scriptures and what the principles of salvation are.
The web site is:
www.principlesofsalvation.
blogspot.com
Now, if I have misunderstood you, then it should be clearly stated that there has, for the last 2000 years, never been any archeaological or historical record or evidence of any changes made to the Holy Scriptures.
Regards,
David

Many scripture scholars have had difficulty with this question. Many of the books of the new testament were written decades
after the Resurrection, and written from the viewpoint of the author. Checking what the individual books have in common lead us to the conclusion that the words used were indeed the words of Jesus. One great way to get started is to do a "Gospel comparison" study. Use keyword: "Gospel parallels" to find some great online resources.

The essence of what is written in the Bible has not been changed [in meaning]. Only the way it is written has changed [to modern language, making it easier to understand the meaning]. The New King James Version or the New American Standard Version are easy to read. I'd recommend either one. It is good to have a good commentary, too, for deeper explanations of passages. I hope this helps you. God bless.

The bible has been changed, mostly minor. None as far as I know to the word of god or jesus. The New international version is considered pretty accurate. Most bibles come in red letter edition, which has the words of god or jesus in red letters.
