God knows I wouldn't choose to put up with men. Good point.

If I could just 'choose' to be attracted to my best friend. Life would be so much easier. She and I love each other dearly. Men have not exactly been 'knights in shining armour' to us. We have talked about this, if only it was a choice. The fact is, I was born heterosexual and there is nothing I can do about being sexually attracted to men. They have the right equipment for my body.

I'd chose men, I can't even figure myself out let alone another female. I just think if the right woman came along some women have converted - I know of 2. Does that mean they just didn't acknowledge their gayness all their life, suppressing it - or that they chose to change their sexual orientation for this one person? I mean look at Anne Heche - it could have been a publicity stunt because no one really knew who she was before Ellen - but she's married now, to a man. What say you?

I never had any choice so i don't know where they got that idea from. I mean it would happen to us all. Ive always just liked women. Where does choice come into it. It just is so it must be the same for people who like the same sex.

Homosexuality is a choice and if people want deliverance from it they can. From a biblical point of view God never meant for that to be a lifestyle.God made man and woman for each other. With that being said our feelings can decieve us because we are born in sin and shapen in iniquity. That being said if people would truly sell out to God then they would find true salvation.God bless....

I don't understand how anyone could call it a choice to begin with. With all the anti-gay material in this society and all the gay bashing, who in their right mind would CHOOSE to be homosexual? I have a bunch of homosexual friends who would absolutely jump at the chance to "turn straight" or "choose straight instead of gay." But obviously they can't; like you said, they're just geared that way. There's nothing they can do about it.

Its not a choice. Look at the animal kingdom, homosexuality comes up everywhere, especially in over crowded populations. Its just a way of keeping numbers down. Using the animals as an example, do you really think they 'chose' one way or another?????

I'm not gay simply because I DON'T CHOOSE to have some guy rodher me or have me rodger him! It's not NATURAL! I couldn't ALLOW myself to be "put in that mindset" because it's not proper in God's sight.

I dont believe homosexuality is a choice. We are born attracted to whoever we are attracted to.

Because most people will avoid choices which will place them in what they consider to be a persecuted group.

Going down the pub tonight, getting drunk and having a fight is a choice.
Taking all your money out of the bank and giving it to charity is a choice.
Do we all do both of them? What a daft question.
