As many of you may -- or may not -- know, my life isn't exactly the most wonderful life to have. Recently, one of my friends asked me a series of questions, and I thought I'd like to share them with you, along with my answers.

Q: You say you're Pagan. With such a horrible life, are the Gods keeping you alive?
A: No. The love of life is keeping me alive.

Q: You love to live. You have a lot of diseases, many hereditary, aren't you scared of death?
A: Death is a natural life process. I see myself being in a better place when I die.

Q: What's the last thing you want to see when you die?
A: A smiling face.

Q: What do you think of the fact that Christians say you are going to Hell?
A: The Bible says when you die, if you're good you go to Heaven and worship God for an eternity. Hell sounds far more exciting. Even though I believe in neither.

Q: I just one last question. How do you manage to keep sane with all the deaths you've seen, and all the bad influences around you?

we live here on earth for about 80 years and christians tell us that if we dont live by a certain standard we go to hell forever.god knows all from beginning to end even before man was created,so he created man knowing the vast majority of us would not be worthy to enter heaven.so you could say he created man just for the sole purpose of torturing us for eternity in hell.what kinda god is this and is it what you believe.

To answer my own question I will leave you with this bible verse:

"If men quarrel, and one strike a woman with child, and she miscarry indeed, but live herself: he shall be answerable for so much damage as the woman's husband shall require." Only if the woman dies because of the abortion does the perpetrator deserve death. "But if her death ensue thereupon, he shall render life for life."

Okay, obviously the baby isn’t really considered a person because its death isn’t avenged with death; hence an eye for an eye. Now if the woman was killed too, then it is considered the death a human so the guy is put to death. So according to this verse, a baby is not considered to be a human being until out of the womb. Why would God’s stance on the significance on a fetus change today? God's word does not change; there is no reason especially for the significance of a fetus to vary now either.

Notice too how the HUSBAND decides what punishment the other guy gets? Isn’t that terrible that the woman has no say at all? And you people believe in this crap? So sad… You truly are heartless terrorist if you are a believer in the bible…

Remember this:

Psalm 19; 7 Yahweh's law is perfect, restoring the soul. Yahweh's testimony is sure, making wise the simple.

The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of Lord stands forever.
1 peter 1:24-25

"may he (the Lord) make thy thigh to rot, and may they
belly swell and burst asunder. Let the cursed water enter into thy
belly, and may thy womb swell and they thigh rot." (15:21-22)

Anyone who is captured will be run through with a sword. Their little children will be dashed to death right before their eyes. - Isaiah 13

Samaria shall bear her guilt, because she has rebelled against her God; they shall fall by the sword, their little ones shall be dashed in pieces, and their pregnant women ripped open. - Hosea 13

“Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer. Give them, 0 Lord: what wilt thou give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts. . .Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb.” Hosea 9:11-16

“Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every women that hath known man by lying with him.” Numbers 31:17

I don't believe in Jesus, I don't believe in the devil, I don't believe in this mother nature crap, wicca? hell no. witchcraft? please, someone put a spell on me...yeah right. So sick of all these people trying to ACT like they can cast spells and do all this other crap. Your a NORMAL human like me. You cant float in the air or bind someone with string and a stick...or however you say you can do it, I don't believe anything the bible says, its been translated many times from different languages over hundreds of years. Its like the times in grade school when you whisper something to someone, it goes around the room and when it gets to the end your message is all twisted..Had to get this off my chest. Tired of people trying to push religion on me. What do you think? Am I wrong? Prove it...don't talk about it, show me a miracle...what has happened to you? Did you see bread fall from the sky? Did you cast a spell on someone? See the devil? please...lol

with it?? All catholics do this why? Even if there was only a single case of pedophilia their actions would still be immoral and unacceptable, so why do they continue to do it?

I mean seriously if we all believe in one God then it is obviously the same God. I am aware of our differences but I do not believe we are taught to hate each other so why the bitterness? Doesn't it sound a bit like sibling rivalry?

The Bible says that God is coming back with all His saints (Zechariah 14:5) and also that Jesus is coming back with all His saints (1 Thessalonians 3:13). Are two coming back?

Some missionaries came by my house yesterday from the Church of God they were excited about the bible and spitting some good stuff about keeping the sabbath day holy which my church doesn't do but we do have a pretty good understanding of the bible from our teachings. The reason I ask is because one of the missionaries referred to the church as "The Family" that made me think are they a cult because I've heard of this family on the news and it wasn't good things. It would help if you know the facts or some facts on the topic that I'm speaking on instead of giving me your empty thoughts I don't want thoughts I want facts thank you!

I seriously think i'ts gonna be during my lifetime. Didn't God say he would be back in 2 days? 2 days to God is 1000 years to us. Well, it's year 2006 and nothing's happened. But, catch this, next year is 2007, and the calendar supposedly started when Jesus died. The thing is, though, that it was started 7 years early. This would make next year the true year 2000. Kinda scary. Makes you think, "if all this is true, then who would the Antichrist be? I dunno, but it keeps me up at night sometimes. Add anything you think.

I certainly don't believe that an invisible being exists who constantly watches us and judges our behavior. I don't identify with any organized religion. In fact, in my idealized version of the future, no particular organized religions would exist.

At the same time, I am open to the idea that perhaps there is more to reality then we as humans are able to precieve. Perhaps we all are connected in some way. Perhaps everything is the same thing, everything is divine. Maybe something does happen to you after you die, maybe nothing does. Perhaps it's another step in nonsupernatural evolution. I don't know.

I am open to these things. While I don't believe in an all powerful diety, which, by definition, I believe makes me atheist, I do believe in the possibility of something more. What's the correct why to describe my belief system?

I am serious, I am not looking for "hell bound non-believing heathen" or "lost sheep ready to be accpeted back into the fold" from some Christian.
