John Winston is still confused. How can Jesus be God and be a mediator between God and men at the same time? Triitarians just don't get it. How sad.

1 Timothy 2:5 says, " For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus." So yes, the mediator is Jesus Christ. Also read Heb. 8:6, and 9:15

the mediator is a go between
fully God and fully man
fully GOd as God the son, creator, judge and savior
fully man as having taken on an additional nature, an unfallen human nature to die for the sins of the world and so be could sympathize with those he redeems
its more than that because beyond being mediator and saving them, the redeemed as a group become the bride of Christ lifted higher than the angels

This is one of those versus where it is translated into Shakespearian English and is kind of confusing. Trouble is that even if you have it retranslated into modern english it doesn't help. Just ignore this verse.
