That cannot even keep you safe from getting hit by a car as you are coming to the truth of His word, and being obedient to His plan?

John, you are the one worrying about getting hit by a car, not me.

My GOD is not of this world. I have no problem if I knew I was going to get hit by a car and less of a problem if it killed me. I am a Christian, we don't have a whole lot to do with this world. We came from the world but we are not of the world. I care much more about what I do that effects my eternal state.
Oh and to answer your question. God can most certainly keep you safe from getting hit by a car and anything else we could dream up that he could do. But if he didn't I would quickly find out why and learn the fast way. The long way to learning hurts a lot more.

May GOD richly bless you.

People are the ones who see death as a horrible thing. In the eyes of God It would not be a horrible tragedy if a new Christian coming to the truth of His word and being obedient to His plan were to die. It would mean that person would be in heaven with God for eternity. The tragedy would be for an atheist to die.

The question isn't what God allows to happen in our lives, because He promises that He will never leave us under any circumstances. The question is whether we are willing to trust Him no matter what happens. I've had plenty of things happen in my life that have seemed absolutely awful and a bit unbearable, but through those circumstances the Lord has helped me learn to trust Him more and He has used those situations for His glory. And the things that happen to us in this life have absolutely no comparison to the wonderful things He has planned for us in eternity, so even if this life is full of tragedy--and mine certainly hasn't been immune from it--I know that He can bring about a much greater good through tragedy than we could imagine compared to if our lives were relatively trouble-free.

My mothers wheel was taken by an invisible hand she told me, so she wouldn't get in a lane when a transfer truck went by in that lane, but later she died a horrible long pain full.death to cancer, go figure? But remember this world is controlled by the prince of the power of the air.A preacher in my home town was struck and killed by a car as he stoped to help out a broken down motorist. But gods spirit is a real force. we must be channels for it or it will not come thru us,It takes the faith of no doubt. like that of a mustard seed. to accomplish the opening of the spirit in our lifes.

Wanting God in your life doesn't necessarily mean good life or immortality.
You are not the only one living on Earth, there are billions of people that would affect how you live, how long you live.

God keeps us in His Love. Dying or getting hurt is part of life.

You are not guaranteed tomorrow... Have you ever heard of an Amniotic Fluid Embolism??? Neither had I until it happened to me. 1 out of 50,000 women will have one... 1 out of 50,000 of those will live... 1 out of 50,000 of those will be institutionalized for the rest of their life. Yes God allows things to happen in your life but he remains with you during your trials... I passed the test will you?
