How can you think life is meaningful without religious brainwashing? Many are convinced that life has a purpose, but in reality, their just as wrong as the religious right because desire is absolutely meaningless. As a result of natural selection, we only pursue whatever releases endorphins in our body. We are servants to our own wants and needs. Even when we are serving others, we are only serving our own motherly instincts. Vices like religion, art, education, politics, sex, drugs...everything we create is just masturbation of the mind and body. These things do not elevate man above animals...man only has bigger, more complex levels of satisfaction and serotonin levels. All the truth in the world adds up to one big lie.

(Do you agree with these people or not?)

I have been molested as a girl, raped as a teen, abandoned as a young woman, burried a child at full term birth as well as 4 before term, I have faced an illness that has made my life difficult and now face another medical situation that needless to say is painful and difficult, and I was once homeless. These are just a few of the experiences that have made me who I am and taught me the most.
God is His mercy has held me and taught me from these things.

Genisis1:1
In the beginning God created the Heavens and Earth.

This informs us of the existence of God.

Genisis 1:2
...And the spirit of God was hovering over the water.

This tells of the existence of the Holy Spirit

John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.

This tells us that Jesus is God and was With God in the beginning.

My question:
After reading this, how can you doubt the trinity?

(1) In bible lots of verses are mentioned about King Solomon. In the book of 1 Kings Chapter 4 verse 26 we are told that Solomon had 40,000 horses. 2 Chronicles Chapter 9 verse 25 states that he had 4,000 horses. Solomon had 3,300 foremen according to 1 Kings Chapter 5 verse 16 , and 3,600 according to 2 Chronicles Chapter 2 verse 2 . Actually, how many horses and foremen did Solomon have? Should I do average?

(2) Ahaziah was 22 when he came to the throne (2 Kings Chapter 8 verse 26), but,
He was 42 when he came to the throne (2 Chronicles Chapter 22 verse 2). Actually, how old was he according to Bible?

(22+42)/2 = 32?

As these are mathematical, I can't find any way to adjust them. Help?

I see a teaching that says the Body of Jesus Christ is God (deity).

If this is true then what of the temptaion factor.

Jam 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

God cannot be tempted with evil.

Heb 4:15 For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

But Jesus Christ was tempted in all points.

If God cannot be tempted, then how was the man Christ Jesus able to be tempted?

God is a spirit. The man Christ Jesus is flesh.

If the body is God (deity) then the sacrifice was pointless.

How/ why?

I know when my heart is compassionate, for whatever reason, protecting, in truth, or tested, sincere prayers for others, healing, I feel God close and he helps with great compassion, or I feel him happy, Holy spirit.

Let me explain;
I believe that suffering has merit as it shapes and forms us and others. Much as a diamond is formed by years of pressure and heat. It is made from a lump of coal into a rough diamond. Which in turn is formed into a beautiful work of art. This is what I believe this does to our souls.

My friend, who is only 24 year old, is diagnosed with rare disease that causes breathing problems. He was recently hospitalized in intensive care because he wasn't able to breathe for 4 minutes. Luckily, he is saved by doctor, but it keeps getting worse.
Doctor said he has less than 6 month to live and sent him to hospice. I can only imagine what he is feeling right now. No one, I repeat, no one deserves to go through what he is going through. He is a good person and he deserves to have fun, enjoy life, play sports, date girls at his age.
Why does life have to work like this? Actually I am angry about this. Why does God let him suffer like that? Doesn't he at least deserve to live healthy and happy like everyone else?

P.S. I am a christian and by no means I am trying to criticize God or christianity. I am just angry, depressed and wanted to vent here.

Most scholars realize that the Trinity is a Doctrine of Tradition of men and that is why many who defend the Trinity Theory quote the teachings and philosophies of men like Plato, Ignatius, Polycarp, Iranaeus, Justin, Theophilus, Athenagoras, Clement, Tertullian, Cyprian and The Pope which has brought much controversy and confusion to the world.

Satan and his seductive teachings through False Apostles and Deceitful Workers like Ignatius, Polycarp, Iranaeus, Justin, Theophilus, Athenagoras, Clement, Tertullian, Cyprian and The Pope. These men cannot prove their authority by speaking in tongues, prophesying and working miracles as mention in 2 Cor. 12:12

The Bible contains the answer, "For such are False Apostles and Deceitful Workers tranforming them into the Apostles of Christ." II Corinthians 11:13

I love life and GOD has blessed me in so many ways but sometimes i wish that he would just end humanity and we could all go to heaven. Honestly, if i was given the choice and i knew my husband and kids were going with me I would say yes. There's just so many bad things going on in the world (war, disease, murder, etc).

And also in John 16:7-15. Jesus speaks of another coming who will convict the world of sin. Refering to him as He, the Helper, the Advocate, the Spirit of Truth.

Who is Jesus talking about.

Thanks for your answers. God Bless

Does it not say in Deuteronomy that any one among you who educates himself in the ways fo the world has sinned against me? and that educating thyself in my name is an abomination? Therefore shouldn't we close down the schools altogether, rather than incorporate god into them?

The "burden of proof" does not belong to the non-believer, but neither does it belong to the believer.

Biblically speaking, the true believer has a burden of proclamation - and even the burden of persuasion (if you will) - but not the burden of proof. (see Ezekiel 3:17-19, perhaps someone likeminded can post this in an answer for others)

And what is it, that the Christian has the burden to proclaim and to persuade about?

See 2 Corinthians 5:11-6:2 (again, perhaps someone likeminded can post this in an answer, as well...)
-

And be exhorted by 2 Timothy 4:5 -
But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

...and consider the 4 verses that precede this verse.

Press on.
