(1) In bible lots of verses are mentioned about King Solomon. In the book of 1 Kings Chapter 4 verse 26 we are told that Solomon had 40,000 horses. 2 Chronicles Chapter 9 verse 25 states that he had 4,000 horses. Solomon had 3,300 foremen according to 1 Kings Chapter 5 verse 16 , and 3,600 according to 2 Chronicles Chapter 2 verse 2 . Actually, how many horses and foremen did Solomon have? Should I do average?
(2) Ahaziah was 22 when he came to the throne (2 Kings Chapter 8 verse 26), but,
He was 42 when he came to the throne (2 Chronicles Chapter 22 verse 2). Actually, how old was he according to Bible?
(22+42)/2 = 32?
As these are mathematical, I can't find any way to adjust them. Help?

If you read very carefully, I believe that you will find the answer to your question. In 1 Kings 4:26, it is referring to shortly after the beginning of Solomon's reign as king. And it does tell us that he had 40,000 stalls of horses. But if you will read very carefully in 2 Chron. Chapter 9, you will see that the 4,000 stalls for horses which we are told of in verse 25, is referring to the stalls for the horses which were brought to him by the other kings; referred to in verses 22-23. And in 1 Kings 4:16, it is referring to the rulers over the servants of Solomon which he had working bringing the timbers of cedar from Lebanon. And in 2 Chron. 2:2, it is referring to the rulers over the workers which Solomon had assigned to the various tasks, and those who he had working in the mountains.

Read your verses more carefully. 40,000 STALLS of horses for chariots was @ the beginning of his reign. 2Chron 9:25 4000 STALLS for horses and chariots was near his death decades later. Much can happen over a lifetime.
No mention of how many horses he had.
The mention of Ahaziah being two different ages at the same point in his life is impossible. My Ryrie Study Bible KJV note for 2 Chronicles 22:2 reads "Forty and two years old. Should read "22 years old"(2 Kings 8:26) the daughter of Omri. Actually, the granddaughter."
You DO NOT adjust The Word Of God. Please read Jesus warning against this in Revelation 22:18-19.
On Christian radio do you know Dr. David Jeremiah of Turning Point? www.turningpoint.com Ryrie was his seminary professor.

42 years old=a son of 42 years; i.e. of the House of Omri, on account of his connection with it through his mother (892-7900=42. In 2kings 8:26 Ahaziah actual age (22) is given when he began to reign (790) during the 2 years of his father's disease.
4,000 horses is more likely correct. The 12,000 are the same in both places. The anciet Hebrew characters were Phoeician. These were in current use till about 140 b.c. and were gradually replaced by the mordern Hebrew "square" characters. My thought is that it was a mistake in copying.

Solomon reigned over Jerusalem for Forty (40) years and His possessions over that period of time increased and decreased. Your logic is faulty. You are assuming that every Scripture is talking about the same moment in time.
Nice try but you must adjust.
I am an Accountant and we we were always told in College that "Figures don't lie but liars figure"
I Kings 4:26 And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.
2 Chronicles 9:25 And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem. 26 And he reigned over all the kings from the river even unto the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt. 27 And the king made silver in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar trees made he as the sycomore trees that are in the low plains in abundance. 28 And they brought unto Solomon horses out of Egypt, and out of all lands. 29 Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat? 30 And Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years. 31 And Solomon slept with his fathers, and he was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.

Many of these trivial discrepancies in the Bible are the result of minor translation errors, or two different people recording the same information at different times, from different sources. The general message of the Bible remains the same.

If its right or wrong, it really doesn't matter. What is correct is that Jesus died for you and wants you to accept His grace that He has offered for us. all of that is good to know about them, ( Solomon) but it certainly will not affect your salvation.
