I see a teaching that says the Body of Jesus Christ is God (deity).

If this is true then what of the temptaion factor.

Jam 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

God cannot be tempted with evil.

Heb 4:15 For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

But Jesus Christ was tempted in all points.

If God cannot be tempted, then how was the man Christ Jesus able to be tempted?

God is a spirit. The man Christ Jesus is flesh.

If the body is God (deity) then the sacrifice was pointless.

Then they're not co-equal, are they.

John, you said

Update:Wrong..The Body is God

Now you are saying God can be tempted.
Body=God Jesus=Body Jesus=God
Jesus tempted in all points
God Tempted
I understand.

Trinity so much simpler than God manifest in the flesh to reconcile the world to Himself.
What is your take on the seven spirits of God?
Does that mean there are 10 of them now?

JW, I'm confused, If God the Father and God the Son are the same, how can one be tempted and the other one can't?

Does that make God the Father greater than God the Son? (1 Cor 11:3)

Because you are referring to Jesus(God the Son)being tempted..God the Father cannot be tempted..God bless. You are actally attempting to erode Christ's eternal nature here.God bless.Update:"Then they're not co-equal, are they".-This statement is proof that you actually are trying to erode Christ's nature.Hey,But there is something good here..Referring to God as "they"..You're starting to learn...God bless.Update:you are once again trying to play the shell game tactic..God the Father cannot be tempted..God the Son can..God bless.

You raise interesting points. I have seen it addressed, the issue of Jesus being tempted, before. And I plan to do some study regarding this question. So I want to thank you for your question, because it has prompted me to study.

In the meantime, I am including a link in my source box below that is one person's explanation regarding this issue.

God bless,

Laura
